We still have to travel from Pennsylvania to Florida, so we needed to have the car looked at. We were able to get it into the local dealership in Wilkes-Barre. Unfortunately they told us we needed a new transmission, which would cost $9000, and it would take at least two weeks to repair it. My brother-in-law checked with a friend of his to find a local mechanic who could give us a second opinion. He recommended Dan Riley, a transmission specialist who owns Reliable Auto Repair in Wyoming, PA. Dan listened to us describe the issues, took apart the applicable areas of the car, did some needed adjustments, and the car is now working fine. Even with the new brakes it needed the bill came to less than $1000. We are very grateful there are still ethical car repair facilities in the world. Thank you Dan. We highly recommend Reliable Auto Repair in Wyoming!

I sent them a photo so they could assess what kind of equipment they needed. The vehicle had been sitting for a long time. They got back with me in a timely manner and we agreed on a time.
