We even talked about ways to improve my range of motion and noted muscle atrophy that needed work and which was causing some of my issues. Been a Joint mber for 3 years and highly recommend. My normal office is in Burbank CA but I've been treated in Salt Lake City, and, today, Lubbock TX. It was great each time, I walk in and scan my card and I'm in...my notes and preferred adjustment methods are documented, and I when its my turn, I'm adjusted and out the door. For someone like me who needs periodic adjustments but needs flexibility on time and location, the Joint is great.

Then the two ladies at the front desk told me the best thing to do was make sure the payment was declined from my HSA card for 2 months and the system would automatically terminate and I would not have to pay anything else. Well payment declined in November, December and January! Then I get billed February 14th. I call and am told we do not offer refunds. You will have to accept that charge and come in and cancel. I asked to speak to a manager and I'm put on hold for 10 minutes. I was also told that managers are NEVER in the clinic so it's impossible to speak to one. The front desk ladies have to send in a request for a manager to call you. Horrible customer service. The lady would just put the phone down and start taking to someone else while I was asking questions.

When I expressed my concerns to the management, they chose to take a defensive stance and treated me like I was making it up stating "no one had ever complained before". The owners/management were clearly more concerned about protecting their reputation than objectively addressing my complaint. I pre-paid thousands of dollars and they refused to refund any portion of the services rendered despite my dissatisfaction with the experience. After a considerable number of back-and-forth emails and phone calls, I was finally able to make arrangements for them to refund the remaining balance I had pre-paid. They had well over a week to do so. To add further insult to injury, when I arrived to pick up my refund, the office manager Barbara treated me with a NASTY attitude and still had not written my check. I was forced to sit and wait for 20 minutes while the staff member I initially had the problem with made sure to parade around me menacingly to the point where I felt so uneasy I had to leave and wait outside. The reason I went to this office in the first place was due to all the positive reviews I found online. I wrote a negative review about them on a different website yet now their entire Indiana office's profile has been taken down from it. I now see that a possible reason this chiropractor has all good reviews is because his office takes down profiles showing negative ratings. My therapy was cut short and it took several communications over a month from the time I complained to get my money back. I am made to feel like this was intentional. I originally went to this place at a level 10 pain and because they hijacked my money I was left in a state of daily pain while I waited for my refund so I could afford to go to another clinic. I blame this in part to Barbara's dismissive and vindictive attitude. I had to completely restart my therapy from the beginning with half as much money at another clinic. My experience with this place was a complete waste of time and resources that still leaves me feeling angry and cheated months later.

I received a massage from Keith at 5 PM Monday afternoon…read more I was diagnosed by a well-regarded hand specialist with carpal tunnel after doing multiple tests. I wrote down that Information on my forms, but he insisted that I didn't have carpal tunnel and instead thoracic outlet syndrome. I requested on the forms to massage from the fingertips upwards towards my neck because of this (for CTS you are NEVER supposed to massage down the arm/hand/fingers), but he began massaging my arm the opposite way. Then I verbally asked him to massage the other way and he did without hesitation, but he still did my fingers the wrong way. At this point I had already asked twice, so I just let him massage how wanted. Keith made several remarks suggesting that he knew anatomy of the arm better than doctors, which is why they mis-diagnosed me. But he also didn't know where the rotator cuff was located, which threw me off right away - considering I've had a rotator cuff injury previously and have done a lot of massage and physical therapy; I know very well where my rotator cuff is located. My wrists hurt much more than when I came in. Instead of massaging as requested, considering my carpal tunnel, he massaged based off of his own personal diagnosis. I truly believe he irritated my wrists worse than they were when I came in. In addition to his unprofessionalism and arrogance, as far as the massage, he spent most of his time on the right side of my body and neglected the left side. When I flipped over to face the ceiling, he breathed somewhat heavily towards my face, and I couldn't relax due to the odor of his breath. I didn't say anything during the massage, because I am not a confrontational person, and I also didn't feel the increased pain until after the session ended. I still tipped 20%, because I believe he had good intentions. But the massage fell very short from satisfactory, and he should be made aware of this. When I contacted them to speak about it, the receptionist was EXTREMELY RUDE! I would give them 0 stars if I could.
