The accommodations are generous and comfortable and the food is better than typical hospital fare…read more The folks who do the therapies are the best (and most important part). They push you hard to accomplish your goals, although occasionally they won't back off when you just cannot do something and that's hard. All in all I was very happy with them. The downfall is the nursing. If you have no underlying medical conditions and are just there bc of a fall or accident you'll be fine. Keeping things sterile was a real problem. I had a nurse come in to start my IV, she put on gloves, got things together, went and grabbed the trash can then thought she'd do my IV without changing gloves!! They are also VERY slow to respond to a call.

Well my husband's first night at Trust Point Lubbock, Tx, WOW! I'm so worried about his care. I…read morecame in this morning to find him bleeding from his elbow skin torn and blood down his arm, chair covered in blood. The bed had been striped from the blood on the sheets. Luckily I was able to get in before 7am when they open the doors for visitors. They close the doors from 8pm-7am, now I know why. You can't check on your love one during the night when that's when stuff goes on. Let's see if things change. A wonderful CNA Finley (which my husband wasn't on her roaster) since no one answered the light I had pushed and charge nurse Jerri helped me out cleaning him up and dressing his elbow. If this level of care continues one more night he will be moved to South Plains cause I know he will get the care he needs.

I would not recommend The Joint Chiropractic based on my experience…read more The membership sounds appealing at first, but it quickly became one of the most frustrating parts of the entire experience. The monthly plan is expensive for what you actually receive, and their billing practices have been unacceptable in my case. Last month alone, they charged my debit card five separate times to collect their fees all at once. After paying well over $250, I had only been seen twice. To make matters worse, when I went in for my appointment today, the receptionist immediately told me I still owed a balance. There was no effort to understand what had happened with the multiple charges or to resolve the issue professionally. Instead, I was met with a smug, dismissive attitude that made it clear customer service wasn't a priority. At that point, I told them to cancel every plan associated with my account. If I'm paying hundreds of dollars, I expect transparent billing, respectful treatment, and employees who are interested in helping customers rather than making them feel like they're the problem. There are too many chiropractors who value their patients to continue doing business with a company that operates this way. I won't be returning, and I encourage anyone considering a membership to read the fine print and understand exactly what they're signing up for before handing over their debit card.
