When it was my turn after the girl ahead of me gave her life history about her colonoscopies to Dr. Z., he tells me I have to fill out the waivers since it had been a while. I go upfront to sign the waivers very quickly and go back expecting to be next, but no he went to the next person. I was there one whole hour, and I'm sure they will still charge my card. I would not recommend The Joint Chiropractic based on my experience. The membership sounds appealing at first, but it quickly became one of the most frustrating parts of the entire experience. The monthly plan is expensive for what you actually receive, and their billing practices have been unacceptable in my case. Last month alone, they charged my debit card five separate times to collect their fees all at once. After paying well over $250, I had only been seen twice. To make matters worse, when I went in for my appointment today, the receptionist immediately told me I still owed a balance. There was no effort to understand what had happened with the multiple charges or to resolve the issue professionally. Instead, I was met with a smug, dismissive attitude that made it clear customer service wasn't a priority. At that point, I told them to cancel every plan associated with my account. If I'm paying hundreds of dollars, I expect transparent billing, respectful treatment, and employees who are interested in helping customers rather than making them feel like they're the problem. There are too many chiropractors who value their patients to continue doing business with a company that operates this way. I won't be returning, and I encourage anyone considering a membership to read the fine print and understand exactly what they're signing up for before handing over their debit card. read more

I would give ZERO if it was available. I went in October and asked why I was being charged. I didn't ask to be in a wellness plan. I then asked them to cancel it. I was told I would have to pay another month to cancel. I did not want or need to service which I told them this. Then the two ladies at the front desk told me the best thing to do was make sure the payment was declined from my HSA card for 2 months and the system would automatically terminate and I would not have to pay anything else. Well payment declined in November, December and January! Then I get billed February 14th. I call and am told we do not offer refunds. You will have to accept that charge and come in and cancel. I asked to speak to a manager and I'm put on hold for 10 minutes. I was also told that managers are NEVER in the clinic so it's impossible to speak to one. The front desk ladies have to send in a request for a manager to call you. Horrible customer service. The lady would just put the phone down and start taking to someone else while I was asking questions. read more

I visited this place today. I've been to chiropractors in the past. I was impressed with the level of care by Dr. Z. As a new patient he spent a while listening to my concerns and showed so much compassion for me. It's sad to say in the medical field this is very much lacking. He put me at ease and helped me tremendously with my adjustment. The staff is equally awesome and super helpful! I understand my opinion is only that an opinion. What a joke! Went there as a new patient on a Sunday. Called in advance to make an appointment and it was walk in only. Sat there for over an hour while numerous people were taken in. What they don't mention is that they don't take you in order of how you walk in but rather push existing patients in while you wait and wait. I ended up walking out because another patient came in and was taken back. I had asked how much longer it was going to be and the response was I've taken your paper work to the back. Been going to these guys for a few months. The Drs and staff have always been polite and professional. The monthly plan is very reasonable priced. The adjustments have really helped with some old injuries pain. I read through some of the old reviews. Not sure what was up with the instances these guys complained about, but I have seen exceptionally nice helpful people there. The receptionist even remembers my name. I plan to continue with these guys for the foreseeable future. Would definitely recommend them for back and neck pain! read more

I was due for my second treatment today. I was very impressed with their 114th location, and was happy to see they also have a location that is convenient for me to go to on my lunch hour too! I was pleasantly surprised to arrive during the noon hour and didn't have to wait at all. Dr. Trevino was wonderful! I explained where I was still hurting and she was able to treat me and provide immediate relief. Today was a little slower and Dr Scotty was able to take some time with my lower back. My spasm was so bad that nothing wanted to give, but after a bit of small adjustments I started having motion in my lower back and less pain. We even talked about ways to improve my range of motion and noted muscle atrophy that needed work and which was causing some of my issues. Been a Joint mber for 3 years and highly recommend. My normal office is in Burbank CA but I've been treated in Salt Lake City, and, today, Lubbock TX. It was great each time, I walk in and scan my card and I'm in...my notes and preferred adjustment methods are documented, and I when its my turn, I'm adjusted and out the door. Absolutely do NOT come here. I walked in for concerns with my hips and ended up being told that I had three ribs misplaced in my back and one leg longer than the other. I left feeling 10000x worse than I did when I walked in. I ended up having to go to an experienced chiropractor. The joint does NO muscle manipulation prior to an adjustment when makes zero sense. Yesterday was my first visit and I feel 90% better than when I walked in. Dr. Loza took the time to ask me how I was feeling and did a short exam before adjusting me. She explained what my problem areas were and what we were doing to do to fix it. After the adjustment, she gave me some stretches and recommended that I come back to try to keep my neck in place where it should be. I did have to fill out a bit of paperwork, but I waited less than 15 minutes to be seen. I recommend this place to anyone who has headaches, neck tension, back & hip problems, etc. The price is great too! $29 for your first visit, $39 after that. The only good thing which was a bad thing in the long run is that they are open on the weekend. Worst adjustment ever actually felt worse pulled things out of place that didn't hurt before hand. The poped ribs that I went in for to begin with actually went back in place after standing in waiting room over an hour then when I left he had actually poped more ribs out had to self adjust just to breathe, save your money wait out the pain and either go to Dr steve vanosendale or Dr sanderman they fix you and you are fixed dont try to get you on a plan to keep you coming in by not adjusting you right. This idiot even said there is no reversing for arthritis and once your bones start deteriorating there is no reversing it. All can be reversed your body rebuilds itself with proper adjusting and diet. read more

The staff has been friendly both times I have been in. The Dr's take the time to walk you through what they are doing and what is wrong, and exactly what to do when you get home. I received an email of the exercises that I should do at home (with videos...which is great because I forgot a couple). I had been a long time client of the joint. Last weekend my trigeminal neuralgia flared up and I needed to see a doctor. It was about 5 minutes before closing so I called to see if I could get in. The person on the phone was very polite and said he would wait on me and it was no problem. I arrived at 4:05 and was greeted by a very long haired,rude,unprofessional gentlemen that decided to let me know he had already shut down the computers. I told him I had spoken to someone on the phone just five minutes prior. He told me there was nothing he could do and that he would not help me. Obviously I was frustrated because I can barely function when I am having a flare up. He then threatened me and told me to never come back and then proceeded to tell me how much money he had and he would sue me. This was the worst customer service I have ever received. As someone in the service industry I would never refuse a client especially after them being promised a service. I will never return nor recommend them to anyone. read more

Went in for an adjustment for my first time in April and they told me about a deal for $59. I made sure to ask if it was recurring (I'm on a very strict budget) and the lady at the front desk told me no it was not. After that month I thought I was done but when June comes around a $59 charge hits at the beginning of the month making my rent check bounce. So i automatically received a fee from the bank and also fees from my apartment complex for a bounced check. I called the Joint right away and the girl who answered was very rude and said she didn't have any money to give me. She then told me it was a temporary employee who was working the day I signed up and she told me the wrong information and acted as if it were my fault. The fees totaled well over $100 and I have proof from the bank and my apartment that the only reason I had fees was because of that transaction. They did refund the $59 but i still had to pay the $100 of fees. I've spoke to the ladies multiple times and they keep saying there's a lady at corporate sending out a check. 2 1/2 months later I still have nothing. The last time I called I asked the girl who answered for the corporate number and she told me she didn't know it and I'd have to find it myself. It's been ridiculous and they have been very rude. read more
