The pizza stop on way to Deer Lake, PA…read more The business situated along a thoroughfare in middle of New Ringgold and if you're not looking for it, you'll pass right by. Denise helped us at front counter and great to learn the majority of this family are busy in the business in one capacity or another. We decided on a few slices of different counter pizza and a steak sandwich, side of fries. Sandwich was tasty and needed more meat for the size of the roll. Anyplace can serve a 10/12" roll yet sparse meat. I base my review on the taste of the sauce, the quality of the food and the service.

The gal who waited on customers was super friendly and the bread served with our salads was out of this world - light and crusty with a moist, soft inside. We both had fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and were surprised by the soupiness of the sauce. We were also disappointed with the amount of fettuccini. It was difficult to eat because the strands were short and fell back into the soup-like sauce. The flavor was good just that the sauce was thin and watery; we've never experienced Alfredo this thin. The pieces of chicken also seemed skimpy. We were disappointed that small paper cups for soft drinks were $3 each although we did get refills. We suspect had we gotten Italian grinders or sandwiches rather than dinners, we would have been more satisfied.

Mario's has a HUGE sign across from a cute small town's square. I had a feeling we were I for a treat. Our Sicilian pizza with pepperoni and olives was so good! Pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend to other others. (Interior is on the cozy side, but isn't weird if you choose to eat in. )
