A quick Yelp search suggested Grease Monkey locations scattered around Denver, similar in style to the Jiffy Lubes I'd frequent way back when. I felt confident with Grease Monkey, and overall I'm satisfied after one visit. I arrived as soon as they opened (maybe even a few minutes before) and had an attendant come up to the car within seconds. It started off a little rocky since he couldn't find my car in the system? Eventually we progressed. Oil change and tire rotation, let's go! You get what you pay for here. Around $100 for an oil change and tire rotation sounds a little high, right? But did I mention your car is done in about 30 minutes? That's crazy fast and I will pay for quick service! Plus, if you check in on Yelp you can use their $10 off deal. I'll take it! The two gentleman who worked on my car and rung me up were extremely professional. They even showed me my air filter to express how clean it was. Anything car-related, I'm sure we all appreciate not being sold on crap we don't need. After one visit, I'm buying into the Grease Monkey philosophy. Don't forget your mask!

Took my car in for a routine oil change, and they managed to strip the drain plug threads on my oil pan, which I only discovered after my car started leaking oil all over my driveway. When I took it to a real mechanic, they confirmed Jiffy Lube's careless work ruined my oil pan, forcing me to pay $800 to replace it. If you care about your car, go anywhere else for an oil change. Jiffy Lube's incompetence cost me way more than I ever saved by using their services. Never again.

They either didn't know what they were talking about or they were trying to scam me. I think they were trying to rip me off if I had to guess, they showed a low level of coolant in the overflow reservoir, if you took off the radiator cap then the fluid was 100% full, I couldn't even put any more in. So I wouldn't go for any reason other than an oil change or to get washer fluid topped off. Find a quality mechanic for anything else. Sam's is great and always saves me money, they legit talk me outa spending money on services. They have also done work for free on little things!
