My problem is the high cost and bad business practices I encountered with them. Be aware I spent $26,800 with A1 for work completed at 2 locations. This included replacing front steps, chimney rebuilds with liners, and a new roof. I am not unhappy with the results of their work .... only with 1. significant price increases once the contract was written. 2. damage to existing equipment at one of my locations 3. work was not completed as contractually specified 4. payment methods which were un-business like. I caution you to be certain that they have complete understanding of your work requirements and everything is clearly written in your contract.

Every part of our yard has its own function and it looks great and feels great. We hang out, bbq, host in our backyard as much as we can. They fully gutted our backyard, leveled out, installed an extensive retaining wall, reinstalled the fence, installed new patio areas and stepping stones, and installed new sod. Diego and his crew worked SO HARD. Our project was done in July 2025 and it was so hot out, but Diego and his guys wanted to finish our project for us before the summer ended. Diego was always communicative, kind, professional, knowledgable, and such a pleasure to work with. He worked with us on our budget, gave us multiple options, and made the best recommendations. Then they tell you they won't be able to do the job for the initial quote and hike it like four times. Now you are totally stuck with them. Also they don't get the required city permit. Abandon the site for days and you get fine from the city. They don't answer your calls and their message box is always full. So much frustration and sleepless nights. I was fortunate to find another contractor to do the unfinished work. Please don't fall in their trap. There are other reputable companies out there.
