It was easy to find, it was right on a strip of businesses on Palmetto. I walked in to cheerful place, but no customers at the moment. 3 employees were chatting. When i stepped up, only 1 actually noted I was there. her name was Becky. I mentioned the bowl and she said they didn't have that offer. I found it on their Instagram. Apparently they are a franchise model and the post was done by only 1 location. I was a little bummed, but Becky said, you know what, I will take care of your bowl. I wasn't sure what to get, but she mentioned one with peanut butter and bananas and i was all about it. I left, after the the order and enjoyed a very tasty bowl. And I will be back. Hopefully to the same positive vibes as this visit.

The Brussel sprouts were seasoned just right as well. The service was fantastic; all the food came out within 10mins of ordering. And the restaurant was cozy and comfortable for small groups inside and there are a few tables outside to sit as well. I can't wait to return to Whole Green Cafe! I recommend it to anyone who lives in Delray and/or visits Delray.

We also both got the bagel bomb -- it was more like a croissant stuffed with cream cheese than an actual bagel, but still delicious. Mine came out piping hot, and the cream cheese was scorching too, so I had to let it cool before taking another bite. They also have juices, water, and other grab-and-go bites in the cooler near the front entrance. There's seating inside and outside, plus a covered corner area near a green space that was really nice -- that's where we sat to chat and sip. I know there's a location closer to home for me, so I can't wait to check that one out too. Overall a nice place with delicious drinks and small bites. You get what you pay for -- it was $25 for both our iced drinks and bagel bombs -- but I get it, and I wasn't disappointed with the quality. I'd definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

However, I came today after work and was unpleasantly greeted by a young female employee. I waited up by the front to be addressed, she made eye contact with me and sighed exasperatedly and started putting on her gloves to start her shift. When she was done she simply blinked at me like a lifeless husk until I took the initiative to order. I made sure to combat her attitude by speaking in the most friendly of tones, but nothing changed. As the next person was finishing up my bowl, a man that had been waiting to order greeted Ms. Sunshine. He smiled and said "Hello how are you?", to which she looked at him, let the question linger in the air, then rolled her eyes again and did not respond. Now I'm not expecting Ritz service at fresh kitchen but... I'm sure there are other deserving young ladies more fit to work at the establishment. Very disappointed in this experience!
