3 amigos of Laval is average compared to downtown one in terms of service, quality of the food. We have been placed at our table. It took 15-20 minutes for someone to attend us. Some customers came after us, they got their salsa and chips right away. After, our server finally came, things went smoothly. Drinks were great, but my food, the flautas were ok, I tasted more oil than the flavors. Sadly I felt sick later that night. I had this dish before too in downtown and it was way much better. Honestly Better than my last visit. We got a table inside beside the window as it was way to hot to be outside. We got the calamari and some frozen drinks which were amazing ! Bulldog is my fav and the chilli seasoning really adds flavour to the normal calamari. Dipping sauces are sweet and spicy mayo both good. Chicken salad was good just didn't enjoy that they weren't chopped up smaller as the salad was jammed pack but it was still very good. Mango salad dressing was a nice touch. Fajitas were good but you only get 4 tortillas since they give you a lot you might wanna ask for a a few extra. Also try the shrimp they are juicy and fire as my Boyfriend would say. read more

Met up with my bf and we decided we wanted Mexican food, surprised right ? My bf works right next door so he suggest we hop in here have some food and drinks and start off the weekend. When we arrived we were seated at a long table by the window it took a while before we were greeted by a waiter. Once we were seen we put in our order for food and drinks. Again the process of getting the drinks and food took a really long time. When the drink did come we realized there was coconut rum in it and we asked if it could be changed. And made with regular rum. The waiter then told us the drink couldn't be remade but gave us a shot of rum on the side. The food was okay I had gotten chicken and shrimp fajita plate, I can't complain about it but I also don't have anything to rave about. Decided to also give the churros a try on recommendation of the waiter and this was probably the lowest point of the night. They came with a choice of either caramel or Nutella sauce to dip it into we asked if we could have both and were told it was a 1$ extra. No problem. When we were served the churros the wave that came with it was anything but caramel. It was watery in spots and think and granulated in others and when we asked the waiter if it was in fact caramel he shrug his head and said he wasn't sure. 3 Amigos well I don't find it that great honestly, Always very disappointed or I just don't know what to order I don't hate it but for what I pay I find I should be loving my food and instead of thinking it's OK. At least I got good service and I liked my mango daiquiri . On Mondays they have 89cents tacos maybe that's worth a try but I think you have to order a drink to get that price. After reading the mixed reviews, I was kind of skeptical on trying out this place. Today was Taco Monday's for $0.89 and I was looking forward on trying out the special at this location. The greeting was quite bad because my server was busy speaking to a female employee instead of seating me for a good while. I had to stare at my phone for a good moment while all eyes were on me due to the restaurant not being quite full and other patrons noticing that no one welcomed me. It got to a point where I was going to find my own table when one of the servers asked me to go to the other section and find a table of my choice. Purposely I walked up to the server that was engaging with the female employee and interrupted his conversation and asked where could I be seated. He then apologized and told me to take any table by the window. As far as the food and drink, I requested a double shot strawberry and mango daiquiri and it was quite strong. I saw the bartender at the bar making my drink and he was quite generous on the alcohol. I'll even admit a bit too much because he poured so much rum that I could barely taste the mango and strawberry. Next time I won't ask double shot. The tacos were warm, fresh and delicious. The chicken was flavourful and the beef a bit too oily but in general both really good. I requested the hot sauce which kicked up a notch my tacos. Delicious !!! The nachos came warm and the unlimited serving of salsa was appreciated. I will definitely come back on another Monday or even a Wednesday and try their fajita special. read more

This place sucks out loud. Horrible service. Horrible bartender. Food was so disgusting I could barely eat a couple bites. The chips that came we're all tiny bites and pieces the like bottom of the bag. No respectable restauranteur would allow the kind of crap they serve here. I'm not sure what a 2 Amigos margarita is as opposed to a 1 Amigo. But it didn't even have one shot in it. I watched him make it. Paid good money for a goblet of sour mix. I cannot believe my eyes. I walked in today with my kids and friend. Sat and asked for 4 fajita meals. Below I posted a picture of what I was served. When I received my dish, the first thing that came out of my mouth was: Is this a joke? the waiter looked at my dish, leaves and gets me more veggies. I'm like "no way this is a joke", his response was "The owner of the downtown location was just here and he said that they serve even less there" I'm like this is not worth my money and I won't ever come back! The waiter replied " I'm not laughing either" and walked away. I am speechless. I was barely able to make 3 wraps with what I had, didn't have anything for a fourth one. I thought the reviews were going to affect my experience over there but the complete opposite. For my sisters birthday we went there and the place was packed drinks on every table the food sizzling hot and the chips that they gave us were big and salsa was fresh and delicious. Our waiter Sam was amazingly fast and really nice. The food was really good the tostados was big and the plate was full. Sadly I couldn't all of it before getting full but it was amazing. Lots of birthdays over there and they bring out a dessert with a candle and they give free hats for the birthday person. Anyways, the service was great, the food was amazing, the price perfect especially with everything we bought and finally the place was beautiful and the music flowing made the experience allot better. I certainly recommend coming there at like 6 and not at 8 cuz you wouldn't be able to sleep with your stomach full. read more
