I have used the services of 2wrap five times, and each time the artistry and craftsmanship have been of the highest quality. Owner Peter von Tilborg personally performed all the work on my cars, and he gave me exactly what I asked for. I believe what sets him apart from the competition is his attention to detail. For the entire front hood of my race car, a gray Porsche 996 GT3, Peter worked closely with me to design a replica of the iconic "Skull and Roses" Grateful Dead album cover. He later designed a replica of a grateful Dead concert poster for both doors, with roses trellising from the poster to the front and rear of the car. In addition, Peter created distinctive red-on-black numbers for the front hood, doors, and rear bumper of the Porsche. He also installed tear-offs and black borders for the race car's lexan windshield. The car has received numerous compliments from fellow racers, track workers, and race fans. Recently Peter did a "chrome delete" job on my metallic silver Tesla Model 3, covering all the chrome trim with black. He also added light blue detail to the Tesla logos in the front and rear. The car now looks far more distinctive (i.e., less tinny) than it did originally. If you want precise, customized work, I can't recommend 2wrap highly enough. read more

In March of 2017, I, Al Chalk, purchased a black Range Rover Evoque convertible from the Symes Range Rover dealership in Pasadena. Included as part of the original purchase deal with them, I negotiated a custom red trim pinstriping to be applied on both sides of the vehicle. With no cost to me, they made arrangements with the vendor, 2Wrap.com and its owner, Peter Van Tilborg, to apply the trim. After contacting Mr. Van Tilborg, we set an appointment for the next week. The day of my appointment, I drove to 2Wrap.com's location to consult with Mr. Van Tilborg about specifically where I wanted the trim. Ultimately, that job was completed to my satisfaction. In June of 2017, because I was pleased with the previous job, I decided to purchase a clear frontal "carwrap" from 2Wrap.com to protect the car's finish from road debris. During another in-person consultation with Mr. Van Tilborg at the 2Wrap.com offices, Mr. Van Tilborg told me that the particular PPF film treatment he used was some of the best on market. It was supposed to protect the car's finish from small road debris such as sand, gravel, bugs, etc. And, as he mentioned at the time, this particular product would not mar or pit; it was formulated actually to "push" out (repel) the material with which it comes in contact. Feeling confident with this information, I decided to move forward. I decided that the optimal areas to be protected were the front bumper assembly and grill, full hood and left and right quarter panel above the wheel wells. Mr. Van Tilborg stated that he could do the work immediately and that the cost would normally be $2200.00, but he could offer me a discounted price of $1950.00 for cash payment. He wanted to avoid "bookkeeping." I then left the vehicle in his care and was told it would be ready for pickup within 24-48 hours, the time needed for the film to dry and "cure". Upon pickup of the Evoque, I paid him in cash as agreed because he could not or perhaps would not even accept my personal check. At that time he claimed that he did not have a receipt and "did not do receipts for his customers" nor could he offer a formal professional business warranty contract for the service but I fervently insisted that I get some sort of paperwork and warranty (work order, contract, etc.) as evidence of our transaction. At the time, he claimed he "stood behind his work" and would rectify any and all problems including film replacement or a refund should I have any issues. However, business being business and the fact that I was paying cash, I had him provide a 10-year warranty bonded by his signature. Since he claimed he did not have any receipts or contract documents available, the signed warranty was completed on a "care and maintenance" sheet from his company. Four or five months after the application, I had my car professionally detailed and I noticed that this so-called clear car wrap was looking dull and almost cloudy. This was surprising to me considering that it was supposed to maintain a luster resembling the vehicle's original paint and clear coat for some years. I Immediately contacted Mr. Van Tilborg and told him what I had observed. He eventually looked at the car and saw that the film had dulled. I told him that I felt the wrap was defective and, for my satisfaction, I strongly suggested that it needed to be replaced entirely. Fast forward to the present. After several months and countless appointment cancellations by Mr. Van Tilborg, after taking the vehicle back and forth to his shop at my expense via flatbed towing and so on, the only areas of wrap that have been replaced to date are the quarter panels above the wheel wells. Nothing more! Mr. Van Tilborg claims I did not make him aware of the other affected areas which, of course, I repeatedly did; and, to exacerbate matters even further, since the Christmas holidays, I have noticed that the excessive bug goo embedded in the film cannot be removed by conventional cleaning, and Mr. Van Tilborg never advised me how to remove this troubling substance. On March 28, 2019, when I once again drove my car to his location and brought this new development to his attention, he flatly refused to refund my money claiming that "he does not give refunds!" Given his statement at the time of purchase that he stands behind his product and WOULD offer a refund if he could not resolve any issue, at this point I would like to be fully reimbursed for the total cost of $1950.00 that I spent post haste. My suggestion to others that may want use this service. Please take your business to an honest, reputable and integral company and do not use 2Wrap! There are dozens of them in L.A. read more

Never heard back from Peter after that. Emailed him 3 times after just to confirm he had received my response to his email and even called and left a message at the business and haven't heard back in a week .
