Luau beers and seltzers
Patrick J.

Great beers & seltzers. The coconut oak splitter was one of the best beers I've had. Luau was cool.

Some parents stopped in here during a volleyball tournament while the kids were team bonding. I was recommended to try the pomegranate mule and it was fantastic! Some people tried flights or their go to beers and everyone was quite pleased. Staff were super friendly and they knew some of the group wanted to watch the Masters so they offered to move the group to a fairly closed off area with it's own tv. They also have a food truck on site. Staff weren't knowledgeable about gluten free so I didn't try anything, but EVERYTHING looked wonderful from loaded fries to burgers to cheesesteak sandwiches. If you are in the Ft. Wayne area, be sure to stop in and show them some love.

We stopped in for the trivia, and to try out their beer selection. They have an extensive list of highly rated beers and ciders. Food selection is limited, there is no fryer. Order at the bar (the guy on Thursday was a little standoffish and didn't seem to like dealing with customers; Maybe that's the vibe, I'm not sure) and servers bring your food out. All finger food and sandwiches come on paper plates or bowls. No problem there, casual is good. We tried the pretzels (excellent!), pork nachos (pretty good!) and the cheese toastie (not special). My main complaint is the interior design of the space. It feels open and kind of cold. Sparse decor and odd choices in space planning. For example, from our table in the barrel from (where trivia was) we could see into a bright hallway where food prep (maybe?) was happening. It was just odd. Lots of potential here! Hopefully some care will be applied to customer appreciation and comfort. A little effort will go a long way! Ps. We LOST so bad a trivia. We will be back to try again

A very nice and quaint place. We came too early for food but the service was great and we enjoyed our beer and wine.

Best brewery in Fort Wayne, well it is the only Fort Wayne brewery I have been too, but I would bet it stays at the top after I tried all of them! This is an easy to find location, offers plenty of parking, looks like a dump however the inside is ideal for groups and solo like what I needed: a quick weekend end treat myself to something special. Sadly they do not do growler fills which was weird to learn, no other beer bearer I have ever been to withholds their wonderful drips from larger to go tanks. Alas it is so here. I am used to my local Lafayette hot spots, Teays River, Brokerage, People's, The Tap, Lafayette Brewing Co, and Knapptronix all happily filling up the sixty four ounce glasses. Anyway I sampled a couple stouts which were well refined and any other day I would have gone black. Sunday evening hits different though and randomly felt my old sour love seek a match. Hardly sipped their Key Lime and first love grabbed hard again! What a mix, hilariously green and glowing with all the ripe tingly taste notes, I ordered one before finishing the sample. One of the two Toms was a fun guy to banter with and hope he makes his wife's pup a permanent doggy mascot! This is one well designed atmosphere too, big ceiling and open inviting seating. I hope I can wonder up and over here again soon!

To be honest, it's going to take A LOT for me to give craft brewery less than 5 stars....it hasn't happened yet...and it's not going to happen now. I stopped into 2Toms on a Sunday morning because - hey - BEER - and it was Craft Brewery Day (or something like that) for a flight, and because our son-in-law said that 2Toms specializes in some pretty non-standard brews. And that is pretty right up my alley. 2Toms is in a kind of an out-of-the-way type place, not being located on a main road but on a side street, tucked away edging a residential area. The building is kind of unassuming, but there's a cordoned off area up front for outside imbibement. The inside is pretty spacious with some of the brewing machinations to the left behind glass. Tours are available, but Jim didn't have time for that, only for a quick flight. They do six-ounce pours for flights here, so a standard flight of 4 equals 2 bottles of beer. Keeping true to my nature, I had 4 very different, unique beers. 1 - Yorke IPA - New England IPA that is a deliciously grapefruity affari. 2 - WRY - Rye IPA that is a-s-t-o-u-n-d-i-n-g 3 - Stjørdal - Smoked Beer that is, hands down, The Best smoked beer I've ever had. 4 - Benevolent Commotion (Batch #2) - A Farmhouse Ale that is, not only the Best In Flight, but one AMAZINGLY awesome sour. All of the beers were top notch, and the gentlemen that helped serve us (whose name I don't recall) was knowledgeable and you can tell had a passion for craft beer. Now, back to my statement about probably never giving a small/craft/independent brewer nothing less than a 5 is this: In order to open, operate, maintain, and survive as a brewery you have to have a passion for it. Any brewery that's still open this late into 2020 HAS that passion, and they'll adjust as they need to to make sure the doors stay open. Although in-house sales may be down, breweries like this are probably doing a phenomenal take-home business because 2020 and alcohol consumption kinda go hand-in-hand. I thank and applaud each and every brewery I've been to for hanging in there and keeping us hydrated through the nightmare that is the COVID Pandemic.

Relaxing with the Bird Law New England IPA.
Alden C.

We tried out one beer from this brewery and it was an okay experience. Bird Law was the beer we tried out. It's a New England IPA and from my craft beer adventures I hate to say perhaps the not the most memorable one. It was enjoyable enough and a solid enough beer but New England IPA's are very popular right now and lots of breweries are making them with varied results. I really wanted to like this one more but alas it just didn't quite have the experience I was looking for. I guess I'm pretty picky with this IPA style. Perhaps exploring some of their other beers would be something to pursue.

My husband and I were in Fort Wayne for a wedding so a stop at 2Toms Brewing Co. was definitely in order. We ordered a flight of four at the bar. We opted for the Oatmeal Cookie Stout, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Barrel-Aged Lost in the Dark: Bananas Foster, and the Festbier. All four beers were excellent and my husband and I really enjoyed them. I loved their space and they have a separate room with a big screened TV to watch sports if you would like. The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. They also offer various food options if you are hungry or just want a snack. Do not miss this brewery if you are in the area!

This place is great. Clean, cool atmosphere with modern decor. Vast array of beers- a little of everything to try. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Food is of the barbecue variety- solid choice to complement the many drinks.

2Toms brews all my favorite styles of beer...sours, saisons, hazy/juicy IPAs, and stouts. No undeserving lagers, wheats, or red ales take the place of the more interesting, creative styles. It was fantastic to find a draft list that didn't have a single dud on it. When visiting, we tasted two (2) different hazy IPAs, the lush mango milkshake IPA, the delicious coconut Oat Splitter stout (coconut, chocolate, and coffee), and the refreshing hibiscus-guava sour wild ale...which we all ranked 4.0 or higher on Untapped. As these styles tend to have a higher ABV, I recommend ordering your beer in the smaller 6oz size...plus, you get to try more varieties! From the exterior, 2Toms Brewing looked to be a so-so chain mall space in a nondescript industrial corridor. But wow, when you enter, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the bigger-on-the-inside, updated interior with modern finishes, concrete floors, and plenty of varied seating options for visitors. There was a neat corner with couches and a large selection of board games, for the gaming-inclined. The Talking Heads and Tame Impala played overhead while we sampled our choices. King Arthur's catering offers a limited menu of baked pretzels and various burgers, but the food offerings are much better than many breweries I've visited (i.e. Hot Pockets and stale chips). Kids appeared to be welcome, which could be a pro or con, depending on where your loyalties lie. Order at the bar; the bartender was friendly and open to questions about the beers' differences in taste/ABV/etc. 2Toms is now my favorite Fort Wayne brewery; it's not often I see a brewery that caters to all my favorite craft beer styles. Visit 2Toms and try something different than your typical order; you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to visit next time I'm in Fort Wayne, to see what sours are available. Hopefully, 2Toms will be participating in the Indiana Brewers Guild state-wide beer fests to save me a drive.

Great atmosphere with loads of games to play and seating. Kid friendly. Haven't had the food yet but it seems yummy. I'm not a beer gal but everyone with me said it was awesome. I did try the marshmallow, strawberry & kiwi sour and it was actually awesome!!

A little Swag!

Both their nuggets and tenders are out of this world, and unquestionably better than Cane's (which is overrated imo). The wine slushies are pretty amazing on a hot day. I'm not a big beer fan but I've tried many of their ciders. They are delicious. Today we went in for their last summer chicken and waffle Saturday. It was so good! We tried the blueberry smash waffle and s'mores smash waffle. We also grabbed some chicken nugs and Keiki sauce. Everything was so yummy and cooked to perfection (and gluten free). Dare I say those nuggs are a bit better than Chick-fil-A? I'm so glad we were able to grab those waffles today. The service was also fantastic during our visit. Everyone was helpful and made the ordering process easy. We got our food and drinks pretty quickly and had a fantastic afternoon. Can't wait to go back my next time in Fort Wayne!

We went to go celebrate my husband's birthday and our server had too many tables because the service wasn't the best. She was okay but for their prices we shouldn't be waiting to get refills for a while. We received 3 of our 4 meals an hour after ordering. I ordered a pizza and I knew it takes 30 minutes but my entire family was done eating and I asked the server if it was almost done. She said the cooks didn't know. I'm going to guess it was never rang in. Because it was pushing 1.5 hrs and it wasn't close to being done? They were steady but I wouldn't say busy. They had plenty of staff on but our server had a lot of tables. We left and she took the pizza off and apologized but I don't think that's enough when one person leaves and doesn't get dinner. If the kitchen was behind, if the pizzas were taking longer, if the service wasn't going to be lacking "just be honest at the beginning". Honestly was truly disappointing and not a good visit.

There are lots of interesting interior designs that make you feel at home. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. They did a good job explaining the menu to a first timer. When you enter you grab a menu from a stand - it is well signed but impersonal. There is signage that directs you to order at the bar. More impersonal impressions. The food menu has a decent variety to choose from. The beer menu is rather large. The non beer alcoholic selections were very thin. On this occasion they were out of two of the three sangria selections. The food was disappointing. The chips and cheese appetizer is large with lots of chips. The salsa is sweet and tasty. We thought it tasted a lot like Picante brand. The cheese was thin and dry and just kind of there. The chips were sprinkled with a dry rub which added some needed flavor and salty pop. Overall...I wouldn't recommend. The peach sangria wine was very good. A delicious sweet taste. Very refreshing. Great for a warm summer evening - definitely recommend! My wife had the Ole Ford Pita and really liked it. The pickles that come with this dish were very tasty. They had a nice crisp texture and vinegar bite. They do have a bit of a spicy kick so beware! The chicken quesadillas was just there. The salsa was the same as what came with the chips & cheese. A nice sweet and cool taste. Mildly spicy. The quesadilla was kinda small for $10. There were a small amount of chicken chunks which were moist and tender - but no discernible seasoning. The Cole slaw side was nice. Large pieces of cabbage with a mild mayo taste. This has a nice cool and refreshing taste on a hot evening. The baked beans were okay. They tasted a lot like Walmart baked beans out of a can - which I like. Just nothing special here.
