They make feel like if you don't pay the money, then you don't care about your child. We completed most of the program with Huntington Learning Center for ACT, and my child did not increase 1 point. In fact, my child went down 1 point from the initial testing. My child liked the teacher the worked with, but all other staff at the center seemed to be fake. Moreover, all the truly seem to care about is getting your money. Speaking of money, I'm not sure where the money goes. The facility looks old and rundown, including the learning areas and powder room. Overall, my child LOST all confidence in their abilities. It took a private tutor to correct the damage. Luckily, my child ended up increasing 5 points with a private tutor, which is more than the "3-4 point average increase" Huntington assured me my child would get. I would strongly recommend that you go elsewhere for your ACT needs. My child had a very bad experience at a center that seems to be run by people who only care about your money, and not your child. Beware of all the money you will waste at this learning center.

My daughter started the program in January with D's and F's and by the end of the school year she was getting A's, B's and C's. Lastly, they were very accommodating to schedule changes. There is a display of figures that were from the old Halle's department store. And they had ornaments that Mr. Hixson had created for the White House. He was there that day, incidentally. I bought a shiny banana ornament, because pretty much every other ornament was golf, nautical or parrot themed. I'm not really into any of those. One thing i thought of was to describe the place as "Hoarders"-ish, then i read my old review and discovered i already had. There were lots of customers that day, and some were buying candied fruit slices out of the front case. Eeps. I'm not even sure those were intentionally candied, or if the ravages of time had petrified them. I' d rather eat my glass banana ornament just to be on the safe side.

Even if they emailed back to say they can't refund the money, I would be fine with that, but NO RESPONSE seems intentional. UPDATE: Immediately after writing this review I suddenly got an email saying "you've been refunded, it takes a few days", no apology or explanataion. Wonderful! As a NYC potter/artist with over 20 years of experience behind the wheel, I was pleased to find such an exceptional place here in the Cleveland area to continue my art. The other artists who I have met in the studio are social and inspiring. There is also a little gallery outside the studio that hosts shows or events for artist. Also, the date night classes look very fun, although I have yet to try them.

I always assumed it was more of a bird and nature specialty store. Don't get me wrong, they have a plethora of birding and gardening supplies if that's a passion for you, but, ahh, it is so much more than that! Wildlife Garden makes me want to buy a house with a huge yard, just so I can start a garden and decorate it. Some things I loved: + Beautiful little gifts. Of all types. I purchased the most adorable little pieces of art that had a small bird holding a sign that reads, "A little bird told me today will be beautiful." + Pet stuff that isn't tacky, especially the ceramic statues as well as the pet memorial items (which are very hard to find). + Unique garden decor. I adored the awesome solar-powered glass-blown(?) flowers that collect light during the day and light up at night. + Fun cards and they do beautiful, free gift-wrapping. You can do everything all at one time! + Gorgeous windchimes and another artisan decor. Just stop by with nothing in mind, and explore! If you're even remotely into buying people gifts (like me, I love buying my friends and family little presents for no reason), have a garden, or a patio, stop in and look around. You'll undoubtedly find a few things that make you smile at affordable prices.

The bottom line is, if you go to Ashley and find something you like, you'll probably find the same exact piece here but cheaper. That's what happened to me. This crafty type of experience is definitely up my alley even if it's not so for my BF, lol. It was easy enough to schedule and they were very accommodating with the time slots. Upon getting there though, it wasn't as organized or streamlined as I was expecting. The space is very small, cramped and low ceilinged. We went on a Sunday and it was packed with people. I had to ask about the class and wait an extra 6ish min for an instructor even though we arrived at the exact time of our registered class. I did enjoy the class but felt it was more of a demo, then you're on your own instead of step-by-step. Our instructor would jump in if you really needed help. For example, another worker just ended up finishing his bowl but he gave a brave start. It was fun and relaxing choosing paints and then painting but just wish there was more inspo provided or guidance. We were just left to our own devices but wish there could've been templates, example pictures or even stencils to help out less artistically inclined (I'm not speaking of myself, of course, but for kids or anyone who who could use some extra help). Checking out turned out to be an ordeal, and they should majorly redo this process to make it faster and more streamlined. My BF and I waited for more than 15min behind only one other person trying to pay. We also had our voucher gift printed out so not sure why it took the worker about 15min to enter it into the tablet and make it so awkward and complicated. The class came up to about $80 for the 2 of us so it's no chump change and is more expensive than some of the chains like Clayground, etc. They have a tip jar and ask for tips which feels in bad taste since there was virtually no service or even guidance besides the class portion. I can't imagine paying $40 for a clay piece here, painting and designing it myself, grabbing my own supplies, returning supplies, washing brushes, then paying a tip on top of that. One more annoying thing is that the worker told me to check their instagram page to see our pieces get pictured and I diligently reviewed every single post for the entire month and our pieces were never shown... The location is also pretty inconvenient from me. I would recommend a chain/franchised place with cleaner, less clutter, more space and better facilities.

The instructor was patient and helpful, which made the whole process feel really approachable--even for first-timers. A fun surprise was that we got to paint our pieces after they fired them! We were told we could pick up our finished pieces in about a week. They also offer other creative options like just painting pre-made pieces or working with glass. There were a variety of painting styles and tools available, and the overall vibe was very welcoming and creative. The service was friendly and accommodating. The only downside was that I noticed a girl who seemed to be in training, and the manager didn't treat her very kindly--there were moments that felt unnecessarily harsh and condescending, which was a little uncomfortable to witness. Overall though, it's a charming studio with a lot to offer for both beginners and returning visitors. I'd definitely go back!
