Prices were higher for used records than another local store, but lower than one we have stopped at out of town, so a good middle ground for sure. And, lots of 2 set record albums too! I was in search of an older movie I hadn't been able to find at local thrift stores. I headed here to see if I had better luck and I'm thrilled to report, YES! For me, part of the thrill is in the hunt. I scanned multiple racks without any luck. I was about to give up. This is where I could've used some help, but the employees didn't acknowledge even acknowledge me. It's a small store and I'm pretty sure it was clear I was on a mission. Before asking for help, I took another pass through the store and that's when I found the movie. Eureka! Despite the small size of the store, I was impressed with the selection (DVDs, Blu Ray, CDs, records). Everything is alphabetized, so that's super helpful. I perused and found a few more movies I couldn't live without (ha!). The value is really good...way cheaper than online distributors and no shipping. I bought Blu Ray movies in great condition for $3-4 dollars. I checked out and again found the service so subpar. No one asked if I found everything I wanted or even thanked me for visiting. I'm not asking for the red carpet, but *some* friendliness would've been better than nothing at all. It's only four stars because I found what I wanted (and more!) - that's what is most important.

We wondered why the music was so easy to hear from the parking lot, and as we came through the door the atmosphere was cathartic. This is a clean, easy to walk through record store with friendly staff. There are two listening stations complete with headphones and great quality turntables. There are sections for used vinyls including most genres in 12's and 45's, CDs, a photo booth, and comfortable seating to listen to live sessions or as you wait for someone to complete their record adventure journey. It isn't a large store but prices were reasonable. The majority is not alphabetically ordered so part of the experience is finding what you came to find. Enjoy!

I was happy to see that they have a 3.99 clearance section. I ran across some classic/vintage vinyls and I even made a purchase. The store is organize nicely and bright inside. They also have a nice leather sofa to lounge on. Staff were friendly enough but helpful. This was my first visit to Seasick Records. I plan to return in the future.
