I always get a big laugh when I tell friends I took driving lessons from this place called 2A. "You mean A1, right?" No, really it's 2A. Hahah! Obviously, it's a play on A1 driving, which is the more popular driving school around, but that doesn't mean 2A isn't a serious school. Hey I did learn, and am now a pretty good driver (#humblebrag). I'd say this is a more laidback, straightforward driving school, with none of the formalities of the A1 programs and systems. It can be a little casual, but they still deliver on the basic professional service which is to provide you with a decent instructor, a good training car, and patient actual road sessions! This was some time ago, but I think I took a full beginner course of ten (10) days' driving, at 1 hour a day. It was on a manual, but on the last couple of days, they switched me over to automatic when I could handle it already. I got to drive a basic Vios, I think, that's well-marked with the 2A driving school logo. They generally had good instructors who had their own tips and techniques they share with you. Instructors just change every session. If you're a girl, you can have a companion with you in the car during the session. They also assist in getting you a student permit and later, an official license. read more
