We've got aunts and uncles who are just road gods. They know all the technical jargon and the diskartes on the street, all while being good and polite drivers. They'd always give us advise, especially in getting the most of our fuel money. But my noobness loses all this in translation and just heads for the nearest Shell to top up gas.
PROS: It's nearest to our place and we simply have our gas refilled here most often because of the location. It's easiest to access and sometimes we can't even keep track of how expensive it is compared to the other gas stations in the area; We like that there's a 7-11 near it. (It's actually on the gas station beside it) It's newly-constructed, and we noticed that it tries to have that Family Mart vibe; The staff working here are really nice.
CONS: We have to take two U-turns before getting here. #firstworldproblems; The attendants may greet you with a happy face, but sometimes you would wait for a while before getting someone to help you with filling up (Should be do it ourselves?).
TL;DR: As noobs who don't know how to compare gas prices yet, we just go to Shell for convenience. read more
