I also like that it has a convenience store, and I can have my RFID-Sweep card reloaded for fast travels in SLEX.

They have a few restaurants here. There is Balai Pandesal and also Dakasi. Also, behind the gas station is a bus stop and jeepney stop for people who are traveling to and from BGC/Makati. The reason is that the service they provide is just a wee but friendlier and faster than its competitors, of which there are three others along Dona Soledad Avenue. There may be differences in the price of gasoline, but these are almost inconsequential. As for performance, it's really hard to tell the difference. It's enough to say that all gasolines sold in the country deliver the goods. Some may be better than others, but just like the differences in pricing, the differences are hardly noticeable. Like many of the full service gas stations, this one has a place to rest and have a bite and a drink. In this case, it's a MiniStop, which opened very recently. Need to use the john? They allow anyone to use theirs, even ordinary commuters. What I like best about this station is the openness. It's not as crowded as the other gas stations in the vicinity. If anyone tells you that all gas stations are the same, don't believe it. Some are really better than others, and in the case of this Shell station along Dona Soledad Extension very near the corner of Russia, both service and products are A-1 for me. I guess people come here because it's near their house and they need to fill up their tanks before heading out to other places. It's funny and a bit cute when they sometimes have promos and give out juice or snacks when you get Php500 and up worth of gas. Other times, they give it back in some coins. I have no idea how their system works or how they decide what to give or how much to give you back, but it's cool to see them try to get the community to patronize them.

Aside from the fact that it a few fast food restaurants beside it, it's also really easy to find. This Shell station is unlike any other because of the types of people I've seen "hanging" around here. I've seen a group of motorists chilling at Select while I've also seen a pack of drag racers (or at least I assumed they were because of the sports cars they were, well, sporting) meeting up at this particular gas station. I told you. There's just something so landmark-ish and comfortable about this station that it even drives people to hang out here. On the flip side, I love the fact that service here is fast. I mean, have you ever experienced waiting 10 minutes to gas up because there was only one guy manning the station? I have and it's not cool when you're running late for work. Whenever we gas up here, service is always really quick and quite efficient. They even offer to clean the windows of your car, which can come in handy when you've missed clean up that morning. This Shell station also has a service station so you can have your cars and motors checked here when necessary.

There are so many options for us to gas-up, but ninety percent of the time, we head for the branch of Petron in Pamplona Dos, along Alabang - Zapote road. It's not just convenient because it's right outside our village, but the service is wonderful. It can get busy during the rush hour, which I believe is a sign that they have good service, since most gas stations have the same rates. Despite the rush, they gladly offer to check on the coolant and water level of my car, clean the windshield, and check on the tire pressure. Props to our favorite gasoline boy Jonass (yes double S).
