I was in need and expected a bit of pain as I haven't been to the dentist in a while. I explained to them that I hadn't had insurance for most of my adult life,so when i called to find out if they take my insurance,I was happy to find out that they do in fact take my insurance, and that finding a dentist wasn't THAT hard,as I have heard tale about. LOL I chose them because thwy are close to my apartment and that when I called,the front desk said the cost of my visit would be taken care of by my insurance benefits, ,so I had nothing to worry about except copay. Well,fast forward a few weeks and I got a bill for $100 something for the cleaning after all... ........... I guess I am not TOO sore about it because I could afford that bill at that specific time,but for a little bit I felt tricked....but they did a good job on my cleaning and gave me all the info I requested on braces for adults,and the office was clean and Jeanine at the front desk was SO FRIENDLY.

I went to another dental office two weeks later to get a second opinion and surprise surprise there was no cavity. A few months later, in 2023, I returned here for my dental cleaning and examination and I asked how the cavity was looking. I was told it hadn't enlarged, but I should get it taken care of. Jump to May 2024; I went to a new highly rated dental office and they took new full x-rays, performed a thorough examination, and a cleaning. I asked about cavities and was told I take very good care of my teeth and there are no cavities. Then I told the dentist and hygienist what I had been told at this office and they were appalled. While I was very pleased with the hygienist Amy, I will not be returning to this establishment.

It bled and stayed sore for about a week and a half afterward. I also had a cleaning done, but it wasn't very thorough. I even had to ask for polishing at my next visit because it wasn't done the first time. Their prices weren't bad, especially considering they're out of network -- something I didn't find out until after I paid. They weren't terrible, but the overall patient experience and professionalism just weren't strong enough for me to want to return.

The moment I walked in, the beautiful lobby and welcoming staff immediately shifted the tone. A.D., the dental assistant, called me back and introduced herself with such warmth that my guard began to lower. Our conversation felt natural and calming, which helped me relax before the appointment even began. Then I met Corey, the dental hygienist. When he spoke, I noticed his accent and asked where he was from. When he said Memphis, I smiled instantly--because I'm from Memphis too, born and raised. When I declined, I asked for a standard cleaning--the reason I scheduled the visit--but was told they would not perform it because the dentist had already diagnosed periodontal disease. So I left without receiving any cleaning at all. What really raised a red flag: when I said I couldn't afford the treatment, they suddenly lowered the price. By then, the trust was gone. The whole experience felt more like a sales pipeline than a dental visit. Afterward, I saw multiple reviews describing the exact same situation. DONT GO HERE!
