THEY TAKE CARE OF YOU LIKE FAMILY here at Cypress Oral!…read more My story is that I've had a root-canal done on a premolar years ago in another city, and unfortunately that surgeon somehow botched the crown post placement in an irreparable way. I put off getting it replaced by a bridge/implant simply because of the expense and because I didn't know who to trust. Fast forward to a few months ago, my stepdad's brother, a seasoned dentist but not an oral surgeon, recommended Cypress Oral to suit my predicament. I couldn't be more grateful that I went with his recommendation! Dr. Price and Dr. Michael both took excellent care of me from the moment I met them, as if they were doing a favor for their own nephew! Wow! They are both very knowledgeable about their expertise and covered things I didn't even see mention of in my research. I was nervous about the issue of price and potential complications, but they didn't pressure me in anyway, just kindly informed me of my best option, which for me was the implant. They eased a lot of my anxiety about the whole process. The staff quoted a much better, reasonable price than I was given at other practices. Hardly common these days, these folks actually care more about their patients than their revenue! What's more, both Dr. Price and Michael went above and beyond to help me out in what for me had been a hard time financially. Thank you so much! So I took the chance and I'm so glad I did! The procedure was so quick (isn't anesthesia great?) I didn't even know they were finished when I came to! Ha! It barely even hurt during my recovery too, great job! Now I have a nicely-healed gum site with a flawless post where there was once a cringe-worthy, nasty mess of decaying enamel that had been that way for more than 5 YEARS. Amazing! I couldn't ask for a better experience! Thank you so much Dr. Michael and Dr. Price, and thank you Cypress Oral! God bless you all!

Came in for a consultation for a tooth extraction not looking forward to that but I trust he will do a great job. After I recently complained of pain and after x-rays, my dentist referred me to Dr. Orfanos. The appointment was easy to make. I saw the doctor without any wait time. He recommended an extraction and then gave me time to ask as many questions as I needed. I left the office feeling like I was in good hands. He shares the office with two other professionals. The office is very professional and designed to move things along smoothly without frustration. There was always someone to answer the phone and provide information. The charges were broken down and provided in writing before the procedure. The day of the procedure, I arrived early but had to wait longer than what I had been told (not that much longer) because of an emergency. Even that was explained to me. The assistant who took me to the surgical room, was very personable, reassuring, and warm which is always important when having an invasive procedure. The tech who took the scan before the procedure and the anesthesiologist were more on task and seemed to know their craft which was reassuring in its own way. Overall, it seems that the office spends time and money on training their staff. Interestingly, the competence on the front end gave me confidence on the back end (the actual procedure). The pre and post op were explained in detail many times and I was also given written instructions. They require a support person to drive you there and back home and they were also given instructions. It makes sense to be repetitive to make sure the information is communicated especially when there is some stress involved in dealing with medical procedures. Overall, the experience involved less stress and pain than I thought, and I would highly recommend this doctor and practice.

I was having a bad toothache along with jaw pain (I feared that one of my tooth needed to be pulled…read moreand/or was infected/inflamed somehow). Went to my general dentist on Tuesday (11/28/23 at 12pm) who confirmed everything I thought and they referred me to this office (per my dentist I needed a emergent tooth extraction done). I called this office same day around 2:30pm or so, and long story short I was booked for a emergent tooth extraction 2 days later on Thursday. Pre-oral surgery: Now I am hella nervous (I'm typically with doctor's appointments but dentist's appointments I'm freaking out. Something about any type of metal tool item in my mouth that does it for me). Anywho, I was instructions of what to do via text message (I.e no eating/drinking 8 hours before the timeframe and to bring along another driver over the age of 18) and all instructions followed to a "T". During: On, Thursday 11/30/23; I arrived for my appointment at 10:30am for 11:00am appointment to be on the safe side. Insurance was verified and paperwork signed. Dr. Michael went over everything in about 10 minutes, and the doctor explained it would be localized rather than general anesthesia. I said okay, and I was in the surgery room for like 30 minutes; localized anesthesia given, expected cracking of the tooth occurred, doctored irrigated the area to cleansed the wound of infection, viola the area was sutured and I was done (all under an 1 hour. Honestly fastest and pain free appointment ever. I was shocked). After: the pain is minimal and just taking the doctor's orders if alternating between Tynelol and Ibuprofen. P.S. the customer service was awesome. I can really tell the staff and the doctor cares. Doctor actually checked up on me, the day after and I was like so surprised (what doctor does that, besides a PCP perhaps??? This doctor has very good bedside manner). They gained a client like forever, but I did tell them that hopefully I won't need their tooth extracting services anytime soon cause I like my natural teeth. I will however be back for a dental implant. Verdict: 5/5 stars. I honestly have no complaints. Coke here, if you need a very good oral surgeon.
