Cave Point is one of those places you just have to see when you're in Door County. The views are incredible, the waves crashing into the limestone cliffs are mesmerizing, and there are plenty of spots to stop and take it all in. Whether you're hiking, kayaking, taking photos, or just enjoying the scenery, there's always something going on. We got a little bit of everything in one visit, and it made for a memorable stop. Definitely a must-see Door County destination.

This is a great park for just hopping out to get an amazing view if you're not up for hiking. We did a loop from Whitefish Dunes state park that included circling through this park as well; it was a great half day hike. The views of the caves and crashing waves from above are amazing. This is definitely a park that might be challenging for anyone with small children who struggle to follow safety rules as there are very steep drops and it's important to stay a safe distance from the edge. The new connection between this and Whitefish dunes is really nice and features a few blowholes which spout water from below when the waves are particularly high.

I love that they emphasize this is not a petting farm; there is a lot of pride taken in giving these animals a dignified and happy life. We purchased a feed bucket with grain and carrots and fed the donkeys/horse and goats which our toddlers loved. We then headed over to the play area where they have oodles of imaginative play spaces setup with a little village that included a restaurant/vet/town store and then there's a barn and little house with tons of stuff inside of them for the kids to enjoy. There's also little tractors and tricycles for the kids to ride, push mowers, rocking horses. Tons of spots for adults to sit while the kids play (in shade too). They also have a very cute out house with a nice potty AND changing table with a real sink which is such a nice touch for families. Staff was fantastic and the price is so reasonable for all you get. We will absolutely be back!

When you buy the animal feed they tell you to go straight to the animals otherwise you'll get stuck in the play town forever. That was great advice as after we were done feeding the animals our kiddo was in heaven checking out the mini diner, grocery store, vet and more, riding on the child sized tractors and generally just having a ball. Just because I give this place three stars doesn't mean it is unworthy of a visit…read more This is a pretty 25 foot water fall that tumbles over the Niagara escarpment onto an accessible river bed. Two small parking lots on both ends of the park give barely ample spots to leave your car for the easy walk to the falls. There is a foot bridge that crosses the top of the falls allowing you to look down on the falls. A major highway is a stone's throw from this bridge. At the other end of the park it a rustic stairway that takes to down to the river bed and gives you a nice view of the falls. Interesting that there are a myriad of padlocks on the stairway steps. This park also includes a statue of Jean Nicolet, who was a French fur trader and made first contact with the local tribes. There is also a historical marker with information about his experience of the local area. This is a nice spot to visit; but you'll share your time there with a lot of people. While this is a pretty spot worth your time to visit, I hesitate to give this place four or five stars. If you give this place five stars, what do you give Big Manitou Falls or Amnicon Falls? Bottom line, this is a pretty spot worth the time to visit. Take the time, there is no such thing as an ugly waterfall.

Easily one of the best attractions in the area and absolutely phenomenal for any level of bird…read morelovers. Make sure to email them in advance to sign up for a two hour private bird tour. Our tour guide was the man and legend, Rob, who genuinely has a passion for bird rearing, bird knowledge, and sharing that love with others. We were greeted by Rob with a Great Horned Owl named Wisdom, later were introduced to Ginger the Kestrel, Amber the Turkey Vulture, and all birds in between. The birds get super excited everytime Rob would walk by or whenever they hear his voice and it's truly astonishing to see the companionship and level of trust between bird and man. Facility is incredibly clean, birds have multiple levels of obstacles and things to sit on, and all the birds have a say on whether or not they want to come out and be introduced to others. They invest a lot of time and energy into not only the birds but into the community themselves. 100% make sure to add this to the list and spread the word!
