The line gradually is getting longer and people don't mind waiting knowing that the food is worth the wait. This is definitely a place to book. Book early too so you are not encouraged to leave right after the meal. Great food, good atmosphere a place to dine!

It's always full but not quite to the point where you have to wait. Always busy to the point where the servers feel obliged to hurriedly chuck the food on your table on their way to another, but also with a smile. Hahh. Sensitive souls need not be offended, they mean no harm. You'd be immune to this if you've been to deliciously rude Asian places anyway... ;) The food itself is delicious, hearty and good value. I strongly recommend the rice with 'assorted meats and seafood' - looks like leftover slop from yesterday but it's one of the most comforting foods you'll put in your mouth. The fried bean curd is crispy skin tofu with the topping specified on the menu. Light and crispy exterior contrasts the soft tofu insides. Yum! The szechuan chicken is flavoursome but lacks the spice one expects from szechuan foods! Most likely fixed with some chilli oil though. All in all, the variety and flavour of the dishes secured this place as my go-to for Chinese in Eastwood.

Each dish was well presented and very hot. Nothing had been left In the kitchen too long. The little touches always encourage people to come back. As we sat down the pots of green tea was quickly brought to the table and then the beef broth soup all complimentary. We order a range of dishes as their was 8 of us sitting at a comfortable round table. There was plenty of space and the atmosphere was lovely. When we finished out came a complimentary dessert. I guess for them the faster they serve you the faster you eat and the more customers they can serve. That's right folks, this is bao - hipster level food - for tuck shop money. Most people get the pork buns but be adventurous and try their black sesame bun; soft pillowy bao encasing a gloriously nutty, black as night sesame filling.
