If you have a large number of friends then the cost works out fine a nice company to use. Just be careful with these because sometimes they wont turn up and then you may be left stranded. Well, everything, it turns out. We stroll out to reception at 7:02pm -- two minutes late -- just in time to see our taxi speeding off like it was fleeing a crime scene. Quick phone call later, the driver begrudgingly returns, looking like he's just been told his holiday's been cancelled. Now, the driver... Without question, the most miserable man in Britain. We had to argue with him to get the quick stop at the ATM that we'd already arranged. You'd think I'd asked him to divert to Scotland. We phoned the office to help smooth things over, but the woman on the phone seemed equally committed to being as miserable as humanly possible. While I was at the cash machine, my partner said the driver sat there moaning non-stop about how long I was taking -- sorry for not withdrawing cash like a contestant on The Cube. Oh, and did I mention the taxi? Absolutely filthy. I genuinely think the interior was last cleaned when Woolworths was still open. We finally get to the party and -- just to round off the experience -- the driver then starts moaning about how he's going to get paid. I ask how he wants payment; he mumbles something about a payment link that didn't work (shocker), so I handed over cash just to escape. If you enjoy filthy cars, grumpy drivers, and customer service that feels like a punishment -- congratulations, you've found the perfect firm. Otherwise, avoid.

This is a very good little village taxi company. They are very obliging and even take on the…read moresmallest jobs. I know an old lady who uses them to get to the village about a mile from her home. They are also used a lot by people to get to the hospital - as parking at our local hospital is such a nightmare - a lot of leople go by taxi. The cars are very clean and the drivers are all very friendly and very helpful. There isn't always a waiting list sometimes you can get a taxi just by ringing up there and then. Their prices are very reasonable - for about a 4 mile journey to the hospital and back - it is £5 each way at the moment.
