The absolute worst, I do not recommend them at all. If I could rate them 0 stars I would…read more Our experience happened late last year. They had an older Tesla Model S for sale that me and my wifey were interested in. We found it online and messaged about it and they seemed to be good with us taking it for a test drive. We live about an hour away so we came into Orem to test drive it, and when we pulled in people inside looked over but nobody came out to the lot or anything. We walked around trying to find the car but we couldn't, so finally we had to go in and ask someone about the car, and someone reluctantly came to show us where it was. We asked for the person we had been messaging with and they told us that the individual was not in but they could help us. The new person then proceeded to show us the car and all was going well. When it came to it, we asked if we could test drive it and the person said yes absolutely. They went to go get the keys, but when they came back they told me they were actually "late for a wedding" and had to leave early so we couldn't test drive. This was off putting so I asked if someone else could show us the car and he brought his manager (at least that's what they said he was). The new guy said I wasn't allowed to test drive the car because it was a "performance car" and I could only test drive the car if they ran my credit, to (and I quote) "make sure" I could afford it and be approved for it. This immediately caught me by surprise, as the car was simply about $25k and was a USED HIGHER MILEAGE TESLA. I own a business and through my life have bought many cars, all of them performance vehicles or expensive trucks and never once had a dealership try to run my credit to verify I could "afford it" when inquiring. I politely asked why they had to run my credit as obviously that wasn't normal, but they didn't give me a straight answer and one of the guys actually even let out a sort of laugh when the other gentleman was "attempting" to explain. They were also highly condescending in tone. On the spot with that having happened we thanked them for their time and walked out, but we could hear them snickering behind us. Shame. We even had our checkbook with us as we were really interested in purchasing the vehicle on the spot. Guess they didn't want the business. We went here immediately after I got off work that Saturday and I wonder if they treated us this way because I had on work boots that had a bit of paint stains on them. Regardless of the reason this is not how a dealership should work. We put off leaving a review but I ran into the page here and see others have also had bad experiences and thought we'd finally share ours, in hopes of hopefully helping people stay clear. Absolutely disgusting behavior. Stay away and go elsewhere.

Shamrock Auto Group - Kellen Christenson from Shamrock with me when we picked up the van.

Hear me…read moreout: We were in an incredible bind as a family - needing to take our 3 month old daughter to some specialty treatment for her seizures across the country. We weren't sure what to do - because we had more to take then our van could fit. Brady and Kellen heard about our story and reached out to us to see what they could do. To make a long story short, they found a way for us to use one of their vans for a cross country trip - just so we could get our daughter the medical care she needed in New Orleans. This really isn't the thing you do if money is your main aspiration and pursuit. Their kindness and trust made a HUGE difference for us as a family - not only in being able to make the trip comfortably, but learning some things to help our daughter Olivia, who has a serious seizure disorder. It's hard enough to know who to trust these days, but maybe especially when you're looking for a car. From experience, I can tell you that you can trust Brady and Kellen. I know they care about people - and will treat you fairly. This is the kind of business we should support, celebrate and invest in for our communities. I'm a journalist professionally, so you can't blame me for wanting to write about this experience. I always like doing business with smaller companies. Most of the bad experiences I have had in life…read morehave been from large sort of mega dealerships. Issues I have had with other dealerships in the past are, hidden fees, different price for cash, pushy sales people, the selling of unwanted nonsense. You get non of this with Shamrock, they made this the most straightforward and honest people I have ever dealt with. Kellen was amazing from start to finish. Also he represents Allstate and managed to sell me an very reasonably priced warranty for the truck, that includes giving me the right to put larger tires on it and lift it up to 6 inches and still have the vehicle covered. Afterwards I purchased a range Rover in Milwaukee for my wife and they sold me a warenty for less than half the price of the local dealership there. So basically if you want to buy a vehicle or a warenty for your vehicle these are the folks to go to. Basically I have purchased 2 warranties and a truck from them and I am very happy.

We did not buy a car from here but did stop to look. It was a low pressure situation and the…read moresalesman we talked to was very open to the fact that they sell branded titles. My negative review is what we told. We were told a story about a minor accident where there was no frame damage, truck was totaled due to airbag deployment and that they just replaced a few things. We were able to see pictures in the accident damage report and the front end damage was significant. Clearly the car had been in a very serious accident with heavy damage. When we test drove the car the seat was broken and the car creaked and groaned when opening the doors. The salesman tried to gloss over the facts which is his job I guess but we won't be back. We were also not impressed that the Salesman couldn't find the car we wanted to look at. NexGen is growing and they have a satellite lot that we eventually drove to but he had to drive around clicking the remote to try to find the car. It was not a good look. Lastly the SUV we drove down there had broken AC despite being newly offered for sale. Not all branded titles are the same folks. It seems like these guys are trying to put lipstick on a pig and gloss over cars with some serious issues. Do your research and if you buy a car from here take it to a mechanic for an independent verification.

Everybody was nice and fine until they noticed I wasn't going to be as easy to deceive as they thought. The niceness was a mask that disappeared when I started raising questions and showing hesitation. Then they just got short, frustrated, and hostile with me. Omer kept pressuring me to sign purchase paperwork before I knew the interest rate. He kept handing me the pen to sign the dotted line. Kept asking for my business. (Why are you asking for my business when I haven't even received transparency of the financial details?) As I'm looking at the paperwork to purchase this 24k vehicle, it's showing the monthly payment to be $484. Doing the math in my head this kind of payment doesn't make sense for a 24k vehicle and I'm realizing there must be a high interest rate. So I keep asking what's the interest rate? Nowhere on the paperwork did it say what the interest rate was and he also refused to tell me. He said that's just the way they do business. Kept saying "I'm not trying to hide it we just don't disclose that." Well, I have news for you, he WAS trying to hide it. Then I told him I won't be signing paperwork without knowing the interest rate, to which he got angry and stomped off. (So professional) Finally after seeing my refusal and that he wouldn't get the sale without telling me the interest rate, we were then miraculously allowed to speak to the financial woman there, Natalie. She told us the interest is 13.7%. I decided to walk out because I've never had an interest on a loan that high. They kept shaming us telling us it was because we didn't have enough credit. (My husband is 25, I'm 24. We don't have that much credit but have both purchased a vehicle and a home. Our credit isn't bad it's just not amazing) but their constant telling us the interest rate was high because of our credit made us feel really bad! I would also like to add that a day after this entire experience at Nexgen, I ended up purchasing a vehicle at a different dealership for 3x less the interest rate. The car I did purchase costed several thousand more and is still less in a monthly payment than what these guys were telling me. Overall this company seems incredibly shady. I now realize that they are adding hidden fees to the interest rate so they can profit off of you, then blame it on your credit, make you feel bad, and deceive you. I'd also like to add it's illegal not to disclose the interest rate and intentionally hiding it. The whole ordeal was so incredibly unprofessional and I would never recommend anybody go here. My response to your response: To whoever wrote that reply.., You seem to not understand. Omer refused to give me the interest rate. It wasn't seamless the way you're making it sound, "when finance questions came up, the finance manager stepped out to walk through everything" I was HEAVILY pressured into signing paperwork without the proper disclosure of the interest rate. I literally had to fight to speak to the finance manager. He told me we don't get to talk to her before signing the paperwork. He got angry when I kept insisting that I actually do need to talk to her. The way you put it is almost comical. Whoever responded to this must have not been a part of this ordeal because you would know how inaccurate your description is. So my questions for you are. *Do you know that Omer told me we don't get to talk to her until after signing the paperwork? *Do you know how many times he told me the way you guys do business is by not disclosing the rate first? *Do you know that I had to ask "so it's literally impossible for us to speak to her first?" And then he got angry and FINALLY grabbed Natalie to speak to us? You guys are such a shady business.

They went to their bank to finance the car but the title was not in the dealer name and the bank had a notice of the dealership that it has had previous issues, so they would not approve the loan. The dealership refused to refund the deposit even though there was never mention of it being non refundable and now they are out 500$. The issue was on the dealers end and they refuse to make it right. I get a deposit to hold the car of like 50$ but 500$ is absurd to just hold the car. Worst Car Dealership Ever - Complete Scam!…read more My husband and I had an absolutely terrible experience with this dealership. First off we tried to get approved at a bank for loan, but this dealership is flagged for not giving banks titles for the cars. So we had to get a proof of the title. We then discovered that the title wasn't even in the dealership's name! It was still in the name of the original owner. They tried to pressure us to use their bank to get a loan. When we tried to get the deposit back, they flat-out refused! Nowhere is it posted that deposits are non refundable or that you even have to put one down. These people are beyond shady. They are super pushy, trying to rush you into signing papers without giving you time to think or check the details. It's clear they are just out to scam people out of their money. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs. If I could give them zero stars, I would! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!
