24/7 dance has been so welcoming and kind to my preschooler. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for dance instruction.

My daughter got "the treatment" when she transferred to the studio (she was a top-notch dancer) and refused Donna's suggestion that she join "the company" (the elite competition girls). We had moved studios because my daughter wanted to concentrate on her education, and just wanted high-quality classes without the time obligations. In ONE semester, the owner managed to destroy my daughter's self-esteem and self-confidence, and kill all love of dance in her. In hindsight it is apparent that she was brutally taunting my kid, although my child was scared to tell me until I finally witnessed something myself and started questioning her. (I am NOT a dance mom). When I talked to Donna, she blew me off and told me that even though my daughter was in all the same classes as the "company girls" she was excluded and was an outsider, because she wouldn't commit. The level of vitriol from this woman was spine-chilling, and I pulled my daughter immediately - never even finishing the performance that evening and the next. I found out afterwards that Donna (who taught the classes) would single her out and humiliate her in front of the other girls, calling her stupid and clumsy, and encouraging the other children to mock her. Mind you, my daughter was the top of her classically-trained school before she transferred in. Because of the genre switch, my daughter assumed that SHE was at fault, and worked even harder, but this horrid woman would single her out the next time. It has been almost 8 years since that happened, and my daughter has never danced since. I would avoid this place at all costs. YOUR kid may never get the sadistic treatment, but it trickles down to the other dancers. They never actually shunned my kid, but many other dancers were treated poorly by the other kids. It's just an environment that is dark and unpleasant.

The classes are relatively small which allows the teachers to give a more hands-on experience, which I very much enjoyed. The roads to get there feel very strange! That being said, I went here for some aerial fabrics classes. They have several levels, so you can find the Igor one based on your skill set. They also have Lyra and pole. They have a ton of kids classes. The studio is compact but they get the job done. The folks here are very nice and very welcoming. There are snacks and things if you need a quick before or after class pick me up. There is a little seating area before you get to class in the studio area. The bathrooms are very nice. The parking is a free lot with a few spots in front and more off to the side and back. I haven't had problems parking, but there is only one entrance into and exit from the lot. Anyhow, the class size for aerial fabrics is 6, so it's cozy. The classes are 1 hour, but it's a good amount to get stuff done. I kinda wish it were longer but appreciate the shorter time. They have individual and class packs, so that's up to you what you'd like to do. They are not pushy about classes or anything. Everyone is just super nice and helpful. I like his studio a lot! If you feel like being in Frederick for aerial fabric or Lyra or pole classes, Luna is an excellent place!

It's disappointing, because as a mom and toddler, we have to pay $94 a month for the family plan (it's cheaper for a single parent and child over the age of 5), and then all that is offered is a single swim class for kids over 6 months, then a single gym class for kids over 18 months. It's not until 2 that you really can start getting use out of more of the classes. We do love the pool. Open swim times are very limited, so it can be tough to get there. Then if you are with a child under 18 who needs help, you are stuck using the children's locker room. The showers take 5 minutes to get warm, and the swim team kids and their colorful conversations disgust me. I would love to have a separate locker room for young children from the one for preteens! I am happy with the fun zone. If your child is independent, they will have a great time in there. Though my child loves the pool, he cries at having to walk away from the fun zone to get there. There are days and times that are better to be in there, but overall I love letting him go in to play. The open gym is great! I hate that there is an extra fee to use it though. It really should be included in your membership. That and the pool is all that is available to toddlers. It would be like having to pay an extra $3 each time an adult wanted to go into the gym and workout AFTER paying for the membership. It's expensive, there is a lot to be desired, but there isn't anything better in Frederick.

The location was easy to find. We didn't bring yoga mats but they had plenty for us to use. Bonnie Abbott was the instructor and I can't say enough positive things about her. I've torn/destroyed my ACL and meniscus and she was so helpful at giving me alternate exercises. Kareem and Nick enjoyed it as well! I HIGHLY recommend Bonnie and the Adaptive Slo Flo Yoga at Yogamour. Here is Bonnie's background provided on their site: Bonnie Abbott, E-RYT 500, is a trauma-informed yoga teacher passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces while also offering dynamic and accessible yoga classes for people of all body types and abilities. Her approach is rooted in compassion, connection, and making yoga accessible to everyone. Bonnie specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including sexual assault, domestic violence, and substance abuse. Bonnie has also been teaching children in multiple settings since 2005, and kids yoga specifically since 2019. Bonnie also provides practical, engaging education on nervous system regulation to schools, daycares, and community organizations.

I purchased two tickets for a "sound bath" workshop, intending it as a thoughtful birthday gift…read more Based on the description (which is now unavailable), we expected a calming, meditative experience with sound bowls--something relaxing and grounding. Unfortunately, the actual workshop was the complete opposite. It involved expressive dance, chanting, and movement that felt far outside the scope of what was advertised. It wasn't at all what we signed up for, and we weren't the only ones who felt this way--another attendee left before we did and confirmed that the description hadn't aligned with the experience. Even before the workshop, communication with Yogamour was disorganized and frustrating. I tried for months to confirm workshop details. The first number I called turned out to belong to someone currently teaching abroad, and though I left a detailed voicemail, I never received a response. I only learned they were out of the country after calling a second number listed on the site. That person gave me an email contact, but I never received a reply from them either--something that would be unacceptable in most professional environments. I even made a trip to the Yogamour location in Frederick in hopes of speaking with someone in person. After waiting for a class to end, I was ultimately told to "check the website," which felt dismissive and unhelpful. Despite all that, I still proceeded because the person I was buying this for really wanted to try it. We visited the website together and chose what we believed was the right session. But when the workshop finally happened on May 18, 2025, it was simply not what was described. We stayed for about an hour out of the scheduled two, giving it a fair chance before leaving--disappointed and frankly, a bit frustrated. I would not recommend Yogamour based on this experience. Communication was poor, follow-up was nonexistent, and the actual workshop did not match what was advertised. I hope this review prompts the team to reconsider how they handle both customer inquiries and workshop descriptions. At the very least, I'd appreciate some form of acknowledgment or consideration for the experience we had--and the time and effort put into trying to make it special for someone else. (Workshop was on May 18, 2025)

He helped us get so comfortable with the steps and, as we got better, gave us tips to improve even more and flourishes to make the dance a bit more engaging for the audience. Having been a part of many weddings, he's full of helpful tips in general for the wedding, like how to walk on and off after the dance, where my husband should go when we transition to father/daughter dance, and to remember to smile especially during the finale. It definitely shows that he has worked with a lot of couples with their wedding dances, but also has officiated weddings himself, so he has so much helpful knowledge!
