They do allow walk ins every day, though appointments are recommended. Anyone, especially walking in, whining about waiting a whole hour has obviously never been to a busy Drs office before. MC2 offers discounted services for senior citizens, military veterans, people with disabilities and renewal patients. My last visit was pretty much the norm (8 people were waiting when I arrived) checked in a couple minutes before my scheduled appointment, filled out the appropriate paperwork and took a seat. Total wait time maybe thirty five minutes, saw the nurse, a short telli-visit with the doctor and then about 5-8 minutes waiting for my new prescription and paperwork. All in all was in and out the door right at an hour total. We went to Catch a Cloud farms and met with Auria (I really hope I spelled her name right) who owns the farm with her husband. She was incredible! Takes pride in growing cannabis and does it with so much love and care. She's been doing it since she was a young kid with her Dad! That's amazing! We went through the different stages of growing cannabis from start to finish, to packaging, etc. She let us smoke on her farm during the tour, she took us into the packaging room where she let us smell whole turkey bags full of cannabis! It was a huge eye opener to see what the local farmers of Humboldt County go through to provide us with quality flower. What I'm smoking is clearly not what we discussed. I spent a little over $90 and walked out with four joints and one blunt, which feels extremely overpriced for what I received. This isn't my first issue here either. I had previously stopped shopping at this dispensary due to similar experiences, but they happened to be the only store open at the time, so I gave them another chance.
