I stopped into this dispensary on my way along the Cali coast and was more then please with my experience as soon as I walked in. Right off the highway this shop had a great location with plenty of street parking. Located in a "shopping downtown area" right by the water (and I was just in time for sunset!!!!) Unlike any other dispensary I've been to this special place had FOUR doggos just lounging around for you to pet and love on!! Having the pups there made it such a comfortable place to be in and I felt welcome even though I wasn't a local. The quality of what I picked up was great. Not impressed with my first "legal buy" in Eureka. I wasn't completely turned off by the bouncer out front checking my ID and keeping me out until its time, but when I heard that other places have waiting rooms I thought that was a better option. They didn't have what I was looking for and everything was very expensive, ok there's a huge tax on everything and this is technically a new business, I can understand that. But the dude with his "office" in the front room grossed me out. There was no reason for him to be there except to look important. Keep your office in the back bro. I came in with some nasty back pain and was helped immediately, despite there being numerous other customers, and the staff was very nice and helpful - they suggested the Breez cinnamon 5mg/5mg CBD and THC tablets. I was expecting to pay a lot more than $31 for 20 of them. 2-3 of them totally took away my pain (plus I had a blissful nap). The high is actually very nice, too. A good product and very nice staff! They're okay. Very expensive. I can pick up great indoor grow for pennies compared to the dispensaries. They just starting selling gummies with less than 10mg (7mg) for the same price they were selling the 10mg gummies (30mgs less) they were 10 @ 10mg/each for a total of 100mg per bag. Same amount lower THC. That's when I stopped going there. I'd rather find a grower with great prices that are consistent and stick with them. read more

Bud tenders didn't have answers to my questions, I waited forever to be served and was just made to feel like I was a second class customer because I wasn't buying pounds of weed.... I bought the cartridge that goes with the pen. It's around $40. I have an extremely low tolerance and one small puff usually does the job. Clearly you have staff issues If there's this many people complaining. One young gentleman was so kind, but the other one was so disrespectful. The first words out of his mouth he literally YELLED at me to get in line. I went up to take a picture so I could go to my car until I was ready. Then he told the customer in front "Jesus Christ" while shaking his head at me. I felt so awkward and thought I kept PLENTY of distance. Maybe I didn't. But that is not how to talk to customers. Laced edibles! This dispensary is the reason I no longer use cannabis. I ended up having a terrible reaction to their product. I tested positive of tricyclics (antidepressants) after coming here. Clearly there is zero quality control in what they sell. I have major drug sensitivity's and ended up hospitalized from the reaction. I have never been prescribed antidepressants in my life so they shouldn't have shown up in my toxicology report. Unfortunately, they did. My cousin was on antidepressants before he committed suicide. Woohoooo! The front dude was nice and charming. The music is legit and sounds great with a couch and free reading material available as you wait for your turn at the counter. They have a nice display of edibles available by the couch as you wait as well. I got a preroll my first time or so and if you want one that gets you high in one hit try the ones with oil on the paper as well. They have a ton of edible choices but I eventually graduated from preroll's to the on sale bud they always have at least one strain or maybe offer you a couple strains for sale under $30 for an eighth. The sales people are good looking and nice and talk with you about what you bring up. Definitely make sure you get a good smell of the different buds it's great to smell the variety. read more

First visit at this dispensary. Everyone was very nice, welcoming and knowledgeable. I got a gram of Nash indoor for $17 per g before taxes. I came from San Francisco to run a half marathon on sunday near Eureka. I just got home today tuesday 12:15am and weigh my gram of Nash and there is only 0.90. It was 2 nuggets pretty dense but looked about a gram. But you never now until you weigh it. 0.90 g. I have a picture to prove and and i was driving most of the day to visit the area and couldn't smoke. Who can smoke some 25.9% THC weed then drive? Not me that is for sure especially to drive back to SF! I am asking for the owner or the manager to contact me directly and either send me my .1g missing through mail or a partial refund. This is why it is a 1 star only. Imagine how much they give you when you buy a quarter, 1 gram 2 grams maybe? Who knows. Please future shoppers, go somewhere else or you might get ripped off. I visited Eco prior to the new laws that started 2018. This is the worst dispensary Humboldt has ever had. It looks new and that's about it. I've lived here over a decade and have frequented all dispensaries even the short lived ones we have had. Eco has the Highest prices and they have the worst staff. 2 staff members ignored me for nearly 10 minutes and treated the other customers different than myself. I was the only customer not offered a discount or a free first member gift like the people in front of me. I took that as a personal offense. I noticed both the questions I had and the questions asked by the other customers were not answered or the said they didn't know. To top it all off they didn't give me back my $10 in change. I was so upset that all this was happening in my first visit I will never ever go back and tell everyone what thieves this place is. We have some of the first dispensaries in California in our community and this place is the owners money grab operation and if they weren't in old town I bet they would get no returning customers. They don't care about the customer or the community. I read a bad review about someone even taking a bus there and being ignored for 20 minutes so they just left and I thought it must be fake but after what happened to me I'm sure its real. read more

It's really disappointing to see the low reviews, this place is great! As a person who has and still works in the legal industry at a few different processing and packaging facilities, I can easily see that a lot of these low star reviews are complaints about things that the dispensary has no control over. The high prices, ID verification, and product packaging are all things that come along with the legalization of marijuana that YOU the public voted for. The packaging, as in amount and tamper/child proof jars/bags etc. are all things that are regulated now. These are rules that you voted for when you voted for legalization, so if you're complaining you really only played yourself. And if an item is faulty or if it doesn't weigh out to what it is advertised as- it isn't the fault of the dispensary but the company who produced the item. I thought that was common sense? (And some of the most recent reviews look like eureka tweakers found a computer) This place is great! It's clean and organized and looks high end right when you walk in. They have a variety of stuff like edibles, flower, joints, pens and probably more I don't remember. All of the employees are friendly and helpful, and it's dog-friendly too so you can bring your fur baby! My only criticism is that while they have a variety of products they don't have ways to use the products, like glass pieces or rolling papers which would make it a one-stop shop to me.
