Definitely one of the awesome local staples of Selkirk.
I went to 204 to purchase my boyfriend a longboard for his birthday and I was not disappointed. Their selection isn't huge, but it is very good considering the size of the venue. The staff are extremely approachable and helpful, and within fifteen minutes, I knew everything I needed to know about longboards. I did end up purchasing one here and they were more than happy to help when I returned with more questions.
The Skate shop has a great atmosphere, and very good selection on not only boards, but also clothing, shoes, and miscellaneous branded merchandise. Also a great place for stickers. A little bit pricey; however it is the only place in Selkirk to get good quality skater items.
The venue could also be a little bit bigger, but it also doesn't take away from the relaxed atmosphere. A wonderful little business in a crapply little town. read more
