Recently visited Best Cleaners to have a leather jacket cleaned. It is very expensive jacket and…read moreit appeared to have mildew on it. Everyone said to throw it out. I took it to Best Clearners, they offered honest assesment. They cleanedd it and I am very happy. I look forward to returning to this location as they do so much more than dry cleaning and are willing to do a lot more things such as duffel bag and shoes. Thank you for great service. JJ

They quoted me 2 days and $10, but told me it would likely be done overnight and I could come check the next day. Next day, not done- no problem, it was a maybe. Next day, still not done. They said it was still a little dirty and they wanted to wash it again. Peeved, but understandable. They said they would text me when it was ready. Text never came. I went back in the next day and it was ready. Upcharged to $17 I assume some of the pieces came off in what must have a been anything but gentle wash. Again, understandable- it's homemade and accidents happen. But instead of telling me, they attempted to fix it, and in doing so, messed up the blanket even more. Pieces were sewn back on. Poorly. Many were not placed back where they came from, and because they were sewn on with a machine, many of the crochet stitches became warped. Some spots were sewn on so poorly that the thread was actually loose. Some pieces that were originally white came back gray, and this had been washed before so I know nothing bled colors. In conclusion: they did not do as I asked, did not tell me it had been damaged, and tried to repair it in such a way that they made it worse.

The dress pockets were balled up and the dress wasn't pressed well, the pants weren't pressed well either . My husband was disappointed in his shirt. Okay. So I waited to get my clothing back from them before reviewing. I noticed them because I…read moreremembered seeing them when we visit Miya Sushi which is right next door. It's in a convenient spot that I pass daily. I dropped off some long overdue dry cleaning Monday morning. Men's dress shirts and slacks. Some of which were from my sister, who has a puppy that sheds. The lady greeted me right away and added my info into the system because this was my first time here. She gave me a slip/ reciept and said they would be ready Wednesday AM. Not a problem because I didn't need them right away. So I didn't get around to picking them up until Wednesday PM. She checked my reciept and pulled out all of the items. She wrapped them in plastic wrap for the transport home. She pulled one of the shirts and mentioned a stain on the arm. I had forgotten all about it. She asked if I would like it cleaned again. I declined because I remembered it was red fabric paint that my nephew had gotten onto my son's sleeve by accident. I gotten most of it off but fabric dye is tricky. That's probably not coming out ever. I paid my bill and headed to my husband who needed a shirt. He grabbed his white shirt that he had forgotten to mention he spilled coffee on. Which was still visible. I guess she overlooked that one because I would have had them reclean that one. I didn't notice until I got home that the dark shirts from my sister still had puppy fur on them. I used a fabric brush to clean that up. Overall, I am okay with the work. I would have liked a little more effort on their part even if they would have added more $ to the end bill. (I usually go to another dry cleaner but they are out of the way- they always took care of things that I might have forgotten to mention before. They would even call if they felt extra services needed to be done.) I have a few more things I need cleaned but I am on the fence if I should return here or go oit of my way to the other place.

For those getting off work trying to make it before 6pm or 7pm good luck because no one will be there. I'm going to be late to all my wedding festivities because of the bad business was decision to close early. I had to wait until the next day to pick up my dress and cannot get on the road until they open again. Not happy and do not recommend.

Dry Clean Mart is exceptional and very reasonably priced for dry cleaning. Since I've been going there this year, I pay $2.50 per item and they also offer same day service if items are dropped off early in the AM. Of course the same day service halted due to the COVID situation. Previously, they always delivered in a timely manner. They have never lost or damaged any of my clothing items. As for customer service, conversations have always been minimal. There's been a few occasions I forgot my receipt and they've always located my clothing items without a problem. I think they offer delivery but I've never used their delivery services. I personally recommend them. Pros: -Great turnaround time -VALUE!!!! One of the best deals in town for dry cleaning with a lot of bang for the buck. Cons: -It's in a questionable area and shopping center. Doesn't bother me as I carry and have never had a problem. -Anything under $12 is cash only. They do take credit cards but a minimum purchase. -They sometimes close at 5:00pm, and 2:00pm on Saturday. Quality of their dry cleaning, I'd have to rate 4 stars. Reason for the 5 stars is their quickness and best of all, VALUE!!

I feel I was overcharged and scammed by the owner (male). On March 11, 2026, I dropped off six garments to be hemmed only (2 jumpsuits and 4 slacks). The owner asked me if I wanted the brand new garments "pressed." Before I could respond, he said "I press for you, no worries," while flailing one arm. I assumed he was gonna do it as a courtesy. He told me the items would be ready on March 30th and I would receive a phone call letting me know. No phone call was received. On April 2nd I called to inquire about my garments. I was told they were ready. Upon arrival, I was shocked (to say the least) when the owner told me my total was $197.00! For six hemmed garments. No other alterations. This man told me the hems cost $26/item, plus "pressing" costs $16.00/item. He OFFERED to press the garments. I didn't ask! After I complained, he gave me a 10% "discount." I paid $177.00 to have six items hemmed ONLY (plus the cost to press added). Three of the four pairs of slacks were TOO LONG. They were not hemmed properly, and two pair didn't even appear to have been hemmed at all. I AM UPSET, to say the least. My husband returned this morning, April 3rd, to confront him about the exorbitant pricing and was only offered a $16.00 refund for "pressing." I'm still out-of-pocket $152.00...for hemming six pants (unlined pants). Average pricing in Jacksonville, FL for hemming, per Google: In Jacksonville, FL, the average cost to hem pants typically ranges from $10-$16 for simple hems for casual pants or jeans, while more complex work, such as lined trousers, cuffed pants, or maintaining the original jean hem, often costs closer to $25-$30+.
