Came here at some ungodly hour on a weekend, chasing the classic New York "dollar slice" experience. This is one of those NYC institutions you have to hit at least once, ideally when you're in no state to make better decisions. Grabbed the white slice and it hit the spot exactly like a late-night slice is supposed to. Fast service, in and out, no fuss. The fact that they're open when everything else is shuttered is half the appeal. This is drunk-food infrastructure, and it does its job. Only knock is it's pretty cramped inside, so don't plan on lingering. Grab your slice, eat it on the sidewalk like a proper New Yorker, and keep moving. Can't complain for what it is. read more

2 Bros Pizza - Hot n ready pizzas. - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

Tasty, good value slices! Will this pizza change your life? Probably not. But if you're like me and you want a slice that tides you over until your next meal and don't want to spend a fortune, 2 bros pizza is a good option. At the time of writing, for $4.20 I was able to buy two slices of cheese pizza and Kinza Cola, imported straight from Saudi Arabia. Pizza was hot and fresh, though slightly undercooked. It doesn't matter, though, the five stars is for the value, taste, and well oiled operation. read more

Fine, expensive slices conveniently located on St Mark's. Nothing worth going out of your way for, but if it's your closest option and you have $4, it's a fine option. Note that the dining space is HOT so you will def be taking your expensive slice to go. Service is fast. So all in all, a fine experience! read more

2 Bros Pizza - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

Two bros pizza is one of the staples of pizza to try in NY! This was a go in college for the cheapest spot but it's pretty hit and miss. Sometimes they have to pump pizzas out so fast they're not crispy enough for me, someone who likes a slightly crispy pizza. I get the turnaround, but overall sometimes you'll get a nice crispy slice and others you'll wish it was in the oven for a bit longer read more

Best "dollar slice" in Manhattan. Was the first to raise prices to $1.50 which made them a less popular choice for awhile but now all of the other slice shops have followed suit. It's by no means great pizza but at least they use real sauce and cheese unlike the other dollar shops. They're open late, quick and efficient, the people working are curt but nice, and I believe you can even pay with card now? I had cash on me but I saw they had a card reader, although unsure if there's a surcharge and/or minimum order for using card. Decent selection of sodas as well. Makes for a nice easy and cheap lunch or drunk late dinner. read more

2 Bros Pizza - Pizza that hits hard - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

This pizza slaps harder than Squidward in that episode of Spongebob. This pizza smacks. It's bold, loud, and unapologetically flavorful. The crust--crispy yet chewy--holds up like a champ. That cheese? Stretchy, gooey lava. Sauce? A zesty punch straight to the soul. Every bite hits like flavor freight--smokin' hot, greasy perfection. Pepperoni pops with spice, while the garlic butter crust whispers sweet nothings to your taste buds. It's not food--it's a feeling. One bite and you're baptized in flavor. It's late-night, post-club, life-changing fire. This isn't your average slice--it's a culinary body slam. You don't eat it... it hits you. Certified banger. God-tier. Crust-crunchin', lip-lickin', tear-jerkin' greatness. read more

2 Bros Pizza - Plain White Pizza Slice - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

I went to this place hoping for two decent cheese slices, but was instead left with an horrible experience. The pizza I received was served soggy and it did not taste all that well. To make matters worse, I came down with a stomach virus the same day -- and I didn't eat anything else that day. I can't say for sure it was the pizza, but the timeline speaks for itself. Absolutely disgusting. Never going back. Eat here if you enjoy food poisoning and disappointment. read more

One of my favorite pizza spots. This is my boyfriend and I's guilty pleasure. The sauce and cheese they use has such a great taste and I love the crust it's crunchy but not too much where it's too hard to bite. We always go for the snapples along with our slices. So good! Will always come here for a slice! read more

Not great pizza. We stopped by for a quick slice on an afternoon; they don't even reheat the slice, but just grab it straight out for you. As you can imagine, it's pretty lukewarm, floppy, not super flavorful, and overall just very plain. Dough feels bready (and not in a good way). Would personally avoid and instead just go to a better place! read more

2 Bros Pizza - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

The bbq slice was ok but definitely better than the white slice. Bbq slice has chicken so it was fun eating that more than a slice with no meat/ no sauce. The bbq flavor is light in taste seeming watery but more plenty on top than other places bbq slice. -the white slice wasn't that enjoyable since it has no tomato sauce or meat. Cheese n bread white slice was ok, the white ricotta cheese is ok nothing too crazy. For the price though you can't complain, not bad and would buy again. read more

I love 2 Bros (and every other dollar-fifty slice place) as much as any other indecisive cost-conscious New Yorker. Some of them are much better than others and some of them are 'less better' than the rest. But the guys who work here are, let's just say, very unprofessional: running out of pizza at 10:30pm because they "close at 11pm" but then they stand here eating and drinking and urinating and catcalling until 1am, using the 'closed' storefront as their hangout until 1am (!!!). read more

Great service! Better pizza! Don't be rude or you'll be met with a fresh slice to the face!

Great pizza! If you're exhausted just let them know, sometimes they will even feed it to you!

I wasn't going here expecting the best pizza in NYC by any means and with the 1.25$ tag on the front I figured I couldn't go wrong. The guys behind the counter weren't very patient even though there were maybe 3 people in the whole place and the slice I got came out room temp and was like it had been sitting for multiple hours. This pizza slaps! Loved the atmosphere, food, and staff--made me feel at home! Good vibes.

Food was very good especially considering the price. Great service as well. It sure slaps.

Food: comes to your cheap New York pizza, 2 Bros Pizza does the job! Place was everything I expected and I loved it. I ordered two slices of pizza and a soda for dirt cheap. It was ready in seconds and it was delicious. The crust was very crunchy and the slices were gigantic. 2 Bros Pizza is definitely my favorite cheap NYC pizza spot. Other: there are a few tables inside. There are also a few high top counter areas where you can sit and eat. Overall there's not too much space there are also standing tables outside. This is where I ate my pizza. Great spot but not too much room to stay and eat. read more

2 Bros Pizza - 2 slices of cheese pizza with a grape soda - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

Two Bros Pizza may not have invented the dollar slice concept, but they definitely ran with it. I dropped by the spot on St Marks before a night of carousing in the East Village and, while inflation has driven the cost up a whole dollar, it's still satisfying. Is it the best pizza you're going to find in the neighborhood? Hell no. But it's a good contender for best of the dollar slices read more

I came in on my own at an hour where the store was completely empty save for a single employee. The pizza was perfectly fine. It was a dollar so no complaints: size wise was a good portion and was better than other $1-2 slices I've had. The sauce was a little tangy and the crust was thick so if that's your preference you'll enjoy it though I imagine if you're coming here for a slice you're not really going for enjoyment sake, just necessity. The reason for my low rating is because of the service. I got my pizza quickly and all that but I found the employee's behavior very unprofessional and somewhat prying. He invited me to sit at the indoor seating at the back of the store which I had thought was out of courtesy so I would not have to stand but later realized it was so he could ask me a series of highly inappropriate questions. "Do you have no friends?" I was on my own so that's where the presumption came from likely and I took it as a joke so I wasn't offended by it. I shouldn't have entertained it by responding but I did because I had thought he was only being friendly. He then asked me where I worked, if I lived in the area, what time I got off work, what my name was, suggested I don't work too hard because I wouldn't have time for my boyfriend (which revealed his intentions all along because I obviously had not insinuated a boyfriend since I didn't really answer him), asked if I HAD a boyfriend, then asked if I wanted a boyfriend and if I would have him as a partner. I just left at that point. Man I was just trying to eat my pizza in peace lol. It was definitely uncomfortable but mostly just a nuisance and even for a dollar pizza there's no way I'm coming back to this particular location again. read more

2 Bros Pizza - $1 pizza - Pizza Near Me - New York, New York

I had a very dear friend visiting NYC for the first time and one of her requests was a cheese slice that NY is so well known for. I am in East Village pretty often and had stopped in many times before for a late night slice on St Marks Place. This establishment is no frills...especially at night when they close the inside and you are not able to sit. But that is no problem as there is a countertop adjacent to the cash register that you can lean on and it has all the spices/seasonings that people like to put on their pizzas. I knew that this was the place to bring her. We were having dinner nearby at a nice place and I also remembered that 2BROS are open pretty late so the timing was actually perfect. There was no line and I just went in. Just a couple of people at the counter closes to the entrance. There was a displace with other slices like chicken and other toppings but we were not there for anything fancy. I asked for a plain slice which was approximately $2 and the employee promptly got the pizza and I paid. We turned to go lean against the counter and she proceeded to put some spice seasoning and white pepper on her pizza and took a bite. She look so happy and savored every bite. She seemed to enjoy the pizza more so than the food at the restaurant we had dined at just before. This was the simple pleasure and NY experience she was looking for and it made smile (and hungry) to see her enjoying the slice. I was tempted to snag a bit of her pizza but I wanted her to enjoy the whole slice because this is a common slice for those who live here. Depending on how late it is, there may be some seedy individuals around or rowdy people. Luckily there was neither when we were there and the staff was diligent. This place is not fancy but recommended for a quick and cheap slice of pizza....especially for anyone who would be visiting the city for the first time like my friend. read more

I got the $1 cheese slice which was not bad. The dough looks thick but when you bite into it it's actually really soft. I would've still preferred it to be a little thinner but for $1 it's a decent slice of pizza. They have other pizzas toppings that cost more than $1. It's mostly standing room but there are also some tables in the back. read more
