We ordered fried chimichanga but received soft instead, a happy mistake in my opinion because it was absolutely delicious! The shredded beef was cooked to perfection and the toppings of fresh guacamole was great. We loved the food so much we returned 5 days later and ordered the same thing. What we received was much smaller and had ground beef instead - honestly such a disappointment. It was covered in lettuce and tomato which just made everything soggy. I'm hoping the kitchen gets straightened out because the first experience was just phenomenal and I want to return regularly if I know I'll consistently get what I order.

While I understand the policy, this could have been communicated in a kinder, more welcoming way. My husband ordered a soda, but it had no flavor and tasted only like soda water. When I politely asked if it could be removed from the bill and replaced with water, the server questioned my request and pointed out that the glass was full, which felt unnecessary and rude. My husband also ordered carne asada. The server asked if he wanted flour or corn tortillas, but none were brought out with his meal. Thankfully, I was able to share one of mine from my tacos. That said, as the meal went on, our server's attitude did improve, and she became more positive and kind, which I appreciated. The food itself was fantastic--my tacos were flavorful, and my children and husband enjoyed their meals as well. The salsa could use more spice, but overall the dishes were fresh and delicious. The chicken was very good. The pork was excellent. The toenail salsa that came on the side was tasty and just a little heat. Not too much for this gringo. LOL So I want to thank Luis and his uncle who are the owners of this restaurant for the hospitality and the great food today.
