Cheated???? Yes, but not dealing with them again for $3.75 Details: On August 5, 2020, I dropped off a bag of blazers (4 suit type and 1 leather) to be dry cleaned that I had been waiting months to be cleaned because of covid-19. I had not memorized exactly what was in the bag in color/brand name. All suit blazers were designer because that is all I buy. My size is not a common size, 2P. When I dropped off my clothes, the man who worked the counter dumped my clothes out of the bag and counted the items out loud. He counted 5. He told me my leather coat had to be sent out to be cleaned. I agreed to pay extra for that service. The other 4 blazers went through the normal dry cleaning process. I paid for and was given a receipt for 5 blazers and paid $100 for the cleaning service of all 5 items. On pick-up day, I drove to the cleaners during the hours posted on the receipt only to find they were closed with a handwritten sign notifying customers of a change in hours. I sent my daughter the next day to pick up my 4 blazers (since the 5th was sent out). The same man at the counter pulled the receipt off the plastic bag and took the other receipt from my daughter and sent her away with just the bag of suit blazers. I needed the receipt to later claim my leather jacket when it is done. I sent my daughter back to get the receipt. He gave her a different receipt for 1 item, the leather jacket only. The receipt showing 5 items, the original version, was "gone". I called and asked her if there were 4 blazers in the package she picked up. She informed me there were only 3. After work, I picked her up and we both went back to the cleaner. We arrived 20 minutes after her 2nd trip there. I informed the same man, who counted the coats in front of me, of the issue regarding the missing blazer. I did not know the brand or color but knew the size. He tried to tell me there were only 4 blazers. I clarified I paid for 5, 4 suit blazers and 1 leather blazer. He proceeded to play math games and act confused. He halfheartedly looked at receipts in his drawer but somehow could not find my receipt but there were others. He then said he must have punched the number into the system wrong. Not even owning to the fact that if he did punch it in wrong, he then overcharged and owed me money back. I told him I at least want the money for the cleaning fee he charged me returned. He then tried to offered to clean another coat for me instead of giving me my money back. I informed him that I don't trust him to clean anything else and yo just return my money. We agreed that I would pick up the leather coat in two weeks when it was done from being sent out. I left with the refund for the cleaning fee for the missing coat, but I am still missing my blazer. No compensation for the cost of a missing blazer. If I had not demanded my money back more than once, I would not have received any money. On August 13, 2020, I received a call from the cleaner. He was upset that I posted a review of my cleaning experience with his establishment. He said I could have talked to him (which I did in person on the 8th and was clear regarding my lack of trust and unhappiness with my service on that day). He then said it was "childish " of me to post my review on social media. He then said since I don't trust his business, that I can come pick up my leather coat because he isn't going to clean it. I said I thought you sent my coat out, I had to pay extra for that. He then corrected himself and said I can pick it up on Monday, at anytime. I said ok, but I want my $55 cleaning fee back, too. He said he will return that to me. I agreed. He then added that I shouldn't have made the previous post because of covid. My opinion is that you should always have great service especially when people are paying for it. He then said he was going to offer me $10 toward a future cleaning service until he saw my review. It would not have mattered at this point because I will never be returning to this establishment. He does not seem to understand what customer service means or business ethics. Tread carefully before trusting this establishment 8/18/2020, my husband picked up my leather jacket today. No issues and my fee was returned. He told me it was the same guy and he was polite.

I used this location to have a bridesmaid dress altered. They had 1 month to get it done. I went…read moreto pick the dress up 2 days before the wedding. I paid for it before I looked at it, which was a mistake. The owner, who is also the seamstress, took the zipper out to pull the dress in, but she put it back it too low or something. There was about a half inch left open at the top with no hooks or anything. Also the zipper was left unfinished and it was sewn in crooked and had lots of pulled threads. There were also grease stains all over the back of the dress and it wasn't steamed or anything. The bride who was with me asked the woman working (the owner was out) to at least get the stains out, and she said she didn't know how to work any of the equipment. We asked for a refund, but she said she couldn't do that without the owner's permission and she refused to call her. Luckily, a friend's mom who used to work as a seamstress was able to get the stains out and at least put a hook in. She pointed out several more mistakes in the dress and fixed it as best she could - but the zipper was shredded, so she had to sew hooks in and leave it as an "s" shape. My friend's mom was also able to get my money back for me after she called the shop and pointed out all of the horrible mistakes. The owner was not happy about that, obviously. Moral of the story - don't bring a bridesmaid dress somewhere you aren't familiar with and look elsewhere for any other alteration services.
