It's a small establishment with limited seating. Recently, there was what looked like a poker game going on, with loud talking and even louder music--but that didn't bother me, because, again, it's the most authentic Jamaican spot I've visited.

So be ready to wait again be ready to wait unless you pretty much call in the food to order which i…read morehighly recommend specially based on the space of the restaurant, there's pretty much no parking available for a big crowd. I would say at least 10 to 12 cars could fit in the parking lot so you need to be in and out. The food was good but not how i thought it would be based on things my friend said plus seeing other places on social media talking about how good the food is. The food was nice. I would rate the place a 7 out of 10 and the food a 7/10 as well . I tried the rice and pease with fried chicken to much coconut milk in the rice 6/10 The jerk chicken pasta 7/10 The shrimp pasta very big shrimp a good 8 shrimp full of noodles an lots of bell peppers 7/10 . The service is kinda slow i guess cause the food cook to order they say so again i recommend order ahead . They had a few seating inside to sit looks like they even have a dining area to chill or keep small party but idk cause the parking space don't look right .

It's pretty good. This was my third time visiting and ordering food. On this trip I asked a a…read morelittle oxtail gravy on the peas and rice and the server said she would put it in a sauce up. When she brought it out, it had 3/4 worth of fat in the container and a little bit of seasoned gravy. In fact, it was so much fat the container top would not close, because it would slide off. So I did without. The peas and rice were tasty and the rice was fluffy. The brown stew chicken was delicious. I'm sure they have other dishes that would blow What I ordered away. I'll look for that opportunity the next time. Photo speaks for itself. Yes I would dine again. Prices are high, a lunch plate of chicken cost 22.00 plus a 5 dollar tip that I added out of generosity. So 27.00 bucks for mediocrity is a challenge to be maintained.

I was told gravy is only god customers who buy meat... I'm so confused because who eat rice with no gravy??? so I can't purchase a side of gravy? this is wild to me. So I'm supposed to be good with whatever you give me. When I asked if they were spicy beef, her response was stellar - "what did I tell you?" Then she decides to ask someone in the back and continue to tell me she doesn't know. And ask me what do I want? That should have been my queue to leave w/o purchasing anything. Because why should I pay for bad service? I still proceeded, with the transaction. Took a bite and it was horrible. The crust was not flaky, didn't have that authentic coloring, the crust was too hard all over. The filling was not even substantial. And the size of the patty was rather small. And for $4, not worth it. Never ever again!!! Change your staff!!!

My co-worker ordered and picked up so unfortunately I can't speak for the overall establishment but will update when I do. Now back to the chicken. I am particular to white meat but this was done so well that even though mostly dark it was still very good. Seasoned well and so crispy that when I reheated my leftovers at home it was like I had just gotten it hours before. They were also cut up nicely and greatly portioned. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is again due to not going and also I ordered raw veggies and expected shredded grated cabbage n carrots w/vinager/brown sugar/salt & pepper, but got steamed cabbage no carrots. The price was really good though. Got a large for $15.
