Yes, First Way is very pro life, anti living together before marriage, anti birth control , anti sex before marriage, etc. BUT they are funded by the Catholic church so that's expected. When I called for an ultrasound the lady said I had to come in for a pregnancy test first. She didn't tell me that I would be doing a 30 minute counseling session before I could even take the test. The counseling is awkward. I felt very judged, my boyfriend and I have been together 3 years and just bought a house. I was told that it's not healthy to live together, and that I should sustain abstinence until marriage. Not happening lol. I wouldn't recommend going here if you are planning on having an abortion. They will try to convince you otherwise. Anywho. Everybody was very nice, I didn't like the girl who did my counseling though. When I came in for my ultrasound the tech did bring me inside before my boyfriend to talk about the importance of getting married. My boyfriend chose not to speak with a male counselor and they did try to convince him otherwise. It isn't required though ! The tech was very thorough , explained everything happening and pointed out all parts of the baby and placenta. And the pictures turned out amazing ! We got to see baby in 2d,3d and 4d. We got so many pictures to take home and got to pick out a hand knitted beanie before we left. They offer alot of free classes and free materials for baby and mama.

Been coming here since my children, now with soon to come grandchildren. Always been treated with respect, and great counseling.

I love this place. They help me with so much from finding the right care, family planning and…read morehaving a village. I first went in for their free pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant here; i was a bit further along and they did an ultrasound on me. I remember breaking down and crying because I felt so defeated and alone. I knew the father was going to ask me to abort it. The nurse asked me why I was crying and when I told her that I don't have anyone, she said "you have us". And unlike other clinics who would've shoved religion down my throat, they sat with me and went through my options with me. They were extremely empathetic and gave me all kinds of resources. I went home and talked to my family & peers; even though many were against it, I felt confident in myself because of the amazing staff. Even now, my baby is almost a year old and I still bring them by so everyone can see them. Because of them, Im doing very well and I don't regret anything. I don't know what the other review meant by its ghetto and smells bad. I've visited this clinic once a month (once I came by 3x in 2 weeks) and it's always so clean and smells fine! I refer many people here and one day I hope to give back to them for everything they have done for me.

Usually I would go to the McDowell clinic but decided to go to this 7th St. location since I could get an appointment sooner. My first impression of the clinic itself was that it's much nicer/cleaner than the other one. After filling out a form, my wait was only 10-15 minutes. The entire staff was warm and friendly but it was Dr. Meyer who quickly put all of my stress levels and tensions at ease. She was very attentive to my story, my needs as well as my concerns, but most importantly, she genuinely cares. Looks like I found myself a new women's clinic that I most certainly recommend.
