We paid $1150 to essentially get new pipes ran to NOTHING!!! The new radiators he installed still don't work, almost two weeks later! I have a new technician repairing everything Ron Weaver pieced together! Including the WRONG MATERIAL FOR THE JOB!!! They are still working so I believe they are either resilient or he does know how to check and clean home HVAC systems. At one point, he told me my water heater needed to be replaced and I hired him to do the job. So far, I have had no problems with the new water heater. About 2 years ago, he started telling me about his business expansion into home services such as doors, windows, siding, roofing, bathroom/kitchen remodeling, etc. For the last year, I had been experiencing problems with the old flat roof on my garage leaking. I also wanted new entry and storm doors. Here is where I was less than cautious. I verbally contracted with him to complete these projects and to replace siding damaged by a trimmer. Mr Weaver told me my entry and storm door size (36" width) is no longer available at local home improvement stores so they needed to be specially made and they would be more expensive than normal. He asked for advance payment to order the doors. I trusted him. I gave him a check which he immediately cashed. 8 weeks later, I do not have new doors, I do not have repaired siding, and the roof repair is questionable/substandard. I did call the company where the doors were to have been made and they had no record of any orders being placed or received under his name, the names of his companies, my name or my address. I have tried contacting Mr. Weaver through phone calls and leaving voice mails at least 2-3 times a day for the last week. I have sent e-mails to his last known e-mail address on a daily basis for a week but have received notice it has been discontinued. His website and Facebook pages have been discontinued. I have sent him a letters (to both addresses) and will now try registered mail. I am asking for a refund of the difference in the amount of money I gave him for the doors minus the total amount he had quoted me for the roof repairs. He and his businesses should be avoided. I have been reminded, once again, to not trust anyone.
