I just wanted to put a huge shout out to Ignite Heating. On New Years Eve, Midnight we lost our…read morefurnace. They messaged me to say they had someone if we needed almost immediately. We had decided to wait until morning and have Atco come out for free to see if they could help. They were able to tell us what was wrong and how to fix it but did not have the part. Ignite messaged me in the morning to see how we were doing! On a long shot I asked if they maybe had an extra part to sell us knowing that 1. It's New Year's Day there shop is not open 2. We were not getting them to put it in so why would they go the extra mile? Well they totally did above and beyond. They got us the part and then even met us at their shop. And by no means over charged for the parts either! I just feel that what a great company. We are not previous customers or even previous repair customers so I just felt like they didn't owe us anything but did us a huge one anyways. I would absolutely recommend this company. To top it off my hubby couldn't end up fixing the problem, not only did Dan troubleshoot with him by text for no charge, he did end up coming out. Then having to find parts at 9pm went back to the city and back out to our acerage to ultimately fix the problem for very reasonable charge for his service. We were happy to pay for all their help today! My hubby had tears in his eyes when he left that there are still good companies you can trust and that his family will be warm tonight.

I called them and the guy called me back within about 5 min (I think his name was Dan) he trouble shot it with me over the phone and we were able to determine it was likely than fan motor. He got the furnace model info from me and picked up the parts prior to coming. I had to wait a couple of hours as he was on another job, which was certainly reasonable. When he showed up he quickly determined the fan motor was indeed the problem and within about an hour my furnace was fixed and working again which was awesome. Trouble shooting it over the phone and bringing the parts likely needed saved a lot of time and a lot of my money. Not many companies would have done that. Ignite is great and has top shelf integrity. I'll never call anyone else for HVAC. Highly recommend calling these guys if you have any HVAC needs or emergencies.

Our furnace and hot water heater stopped working simultaneously and I called Tidy HVAC and he was…read moreable to come the very next day to diagnose and fix the problem....no problem!! He ended up contacting me to say he could come earlier in the day than originally planned if that was okay and I was anxious to get some heat happening ASAP so was grateful for that!! Yash was a very easy-going pleasant guy to deal with and ended up doing WAY more work than we originally talked about as he detected a carbon monoxide leak emitting from our hot water tank (luckily!), unbeknownst to us and proceeded to try and figure out and diagnose the problem of why it was happening, which obviously is a very serious thing!! Very soon he found the source of the problem, which was a collapsed air out-take vent in the chimney, so instead of the carbon monoxide, etc. venting out of the house, it was actually not able to because of the blockage and building up inside! He was able to fix the problem, clean and maintain the furnace, get the hot water tank and furnace working again as well as figure out our weird furnace fan that has continued (for many years now) to blow all day and all night even when the furnace isn't on....this is something we've gotten used to over the last 20+ years! We thought there wasn't anything we could do about it as no one else had ever mentioned that it wasn't really supposed to be like that! Well, he was able to sort this all out and figure out the problem and now it only comes on only when the heat comes on (which is what is supposed to happen!) and it is sooo quiet in our house now, it's unbelievable!! We can hear one another finally, so perhaps we won't be misunderstanding each other anymore!! HaHa We never realized just how noisy that was for all those years!! The sound of silence is just so...relaxing! He also made some recommendations on upgrading our thermostat at some point too and gave us many options and suggestions, which we probably will do; but in the meantime, we are BEYOND THRILLED with all the excellent work he did, the time he spent doing it and explaining to me throughout his time here what he was doing, letting me know if there'd be any additional costs right away for extra work, all the while being very respectful, pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend Yash and his company Tidy HVAC for any of your furnace/hot water tank needs; he is a very knowledgeable, efficient professional who not only cares about his work, but also his customers! Other then the problem with their fleet I have to say that is understandable and I would use them again. Previous Comment: This company had a Groupon in the fall for duct cleaning. We bought it and booked for October. They left us a voice mail to cancel. We left a message to rebook and asked if they would honor the Groupon we didn't hear from them for a week. So we contacted Groupon for a refund and then First Call called us back and booked for December. Well two days before we were scheduled they called us to reschedule for February. I would not recommend them at all. I am not sure if they are trying to avoid us because of the Groupon or if they really are that bad to deal with either way it is no good. Maybe in the summer we'll get our ducts cleaned but for now we will have to wait.

The work performed was top notch throughout and Dave made sure we were well informed of everything throughout the entire process. Dave made sure we were happy with everything every step of the way. We highly recommend this company for ALL of your HVAC/gas fitting needs!
