However, when we got there, we were told the best option was to sit in the lobby and open the account online. We tried, but the online application kept producing errors and wouldn't allow us to complete the setup. We waited patiently and asked for help, but after 20 minutes of being passed over, we were simply told we'd need to make an appointment and come back. I felt completely dismissed. As a longtime customer, I expected more consideration and basic customer service--especially as a Premier client. Fortunately, there are many other banking options available, and I'll be exploring them as I move my money away from Wells Fargo. I've made this same request several times at my usual Chase branch and have never had an issue.
