Quite simply the best B&B we've ever stayed in. The house is a quaint and wonderful grade II listed building building and the owners are so lovely and friendly. We visited here when going for a wedding at the nearby powder mills hotel. The attic room was our accomodation for the night and it is a cosy & characterful room with, to give you an idea of the amenities, real coffee and home made biscuits (which are delicious) and a huge en suite with a roll top bath. Our friendly hosts even gave us a lift to the hotel for the wedding! Though I can't guarantee that this will be included in the price. As for the breakfast, it was amazing. The homemade bread was very good and went exceptionally well with the HUGE selection of homemade jams, preserves and marmalades. And the locally sources bacon, sausage and eggs were all delicious and perfectly prepared. I could go on about all the lovely touches at this B&B for a very long time, but my point would be the same. If you're in the area, go here. If you're not in the area still go here!! read more
