When I'm ready for my seating for my knook to be upholstered in leather, I'm coming back to have Advanced do it. Overall, great work and great value. Excellent customer service. Thank you Maria!

I originally had called several other businesses but they were either closed or they didn't answer their phones. Victor on the other hand was just the opposite. He said bring it in or give him the dimensions. I was in the area, I will drop in. The store was next to a car repair place, but his business is facing on Whittier Blvd. Visible signs on every corner. Street parking only. There's parking right in front of his store. The owner, Victor, has been in the family business for 35 years. He was easy to talk to and listened to your needs. He gave his recommendations. He didn't try to upsell or force to buy anything. Down to earth. There was a white sofa in the center of the room that has three different cushions of softness for testing. Firm, Medium, Soft. The firm was way too firm, Soft was way too soft and the medium was just right. I went with the medium. I took it in on a Tuesday and it was ready on Thursday. At first, when I got home and place the cushions back into the sofa and sat on it, I was like, whoa, feels like it was firm. It felt like it because it was brand new. After the family been sitting on them for 2 weeks, it has been broken in. Feels great. Thanks, Victor! Give Victor a call and give him a try.

Yelp Review 10…read moreThumbs Up! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Carlos from Riviera Upholstery, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience! Carlos came to my home and helped me choose the perfect fabrics and styles for my loveseat, couch (which is also a sleeper sofa), and headboard. He brought so many beautiful fabric options, and the process was truly enjoyable. We chose a beautiful royal soft blue for the couches and a creamy brown for the headboard, and everything came out AMAZING! Every time someone comes over, their face lights up and they ask, "Oh my God! Did you get new furniture?" I proudly tell them, "Nope! This is the same furniture I've had for over 30 years!" I decided to go old-school, just like my grandmothers and aunties used to do--reupholster quality furniture instead of throwing it away. I also love that this company has been around for so many years. My husband even remembered that his mother had work done by this same company years ago! The delivery team was also outstanding. They were professional, careful, and respectful of my home. They removed the furniture without damaging anything and returned everything beautifully, putting it all back exactly where it belonged. I am genuinely overjoyed with how everything turned out. The furniture looks brand new, but it still has the sentimental value of pieces I've had for decades. I truly believe this furniture will last me another 30 years! And hopefully, my son will keep it, pass it down, and continue the tradition--and keep coming back to Riviera Upholstery just like we did. Riviera Upholstery gets 10 thumbs up from me! Thank you, Carlos, and the entire team, for bringing my furniture back to life!
