The day I went the alpine slide and chairlift were "closed" but since they promised they would refund that portion of it wasn't up and running by the end of the day I went ahead and purchased the Ultimate Pass. After 4 hours in the park we were ready to leave and slide and chairlift were still closed. Went back for refund only to find sales person was gone and current "manager" would not honor what they were saying earlier. I was staying across the street from this location and noticed after they had closed at 6pm, conveniently the chairlift started moving as employees sat at the bottom hanging out. We only wanted to do the slide and climbing attractions which would have been $70 but like I said we purchased the Ultimate pass for $90. We did have a good time and it was a vacation so I'm not gonna complain too much. The staff here at each attraction was really the only reason I'm adding an extra star. They were awesome and really looked out for everyone's safety and made sure everyone was having a good time. JUST DONT GET SUCKED INTO THEIR BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!!

They have a full-blown theater at the foot of the mountain, which is really amazing when people can perform and things like that which I had no idea that was there until later. And then they have this amazing easy to travel trail. You can do about 50% of it with the stroller and get close up to the monument and take a great photo but then there comes an area where it says I have almost 450 steps so we stopped right there and turned back, but it does do a loop around the whole area with spectacular views. They do have restaurants and gift shops there so if you're ever in South Dakota, go and give this place a visit

Multiple exhibits where you can learn about how the memorial came to be before taking a walk on the trail that gives you a closer look. Don't forget to grab some shots of the way leading up to the memorial of all 50 states' flags and plaques. Admission is free - and check the site for different events like lighting ceremonies. Didn't catch that but maybe next time. I say that because I can see myself visiting the area again. Lots to see and do out there.

Located just 5-8 mins from the Mt Rushmore parking lot. We started of with a $35 package 800ft Zipline and "bungee" jump for the boys and $25 Zipline for us. TIP: don't waste your money on the jump, or the 800ft (15 second) Zipline. Go straight for the Aerial ropes course which have those elements built into several of their 8 paths/courses. We decided after that we wanted to do the 2hr Aerial adventure ropes course high in the trees, because it looked fun, well-built, new, and safe. TIP: They wouldn't re-bundle what we already did into a new package rate. Lame!!!! Buy what you think you might do up front. The regular rate is $49 for 2hrs or $10 less for 1h15m twilight pricing (after 5:00p). You have to start your last path by 6p. And you cannot try a higher difficulty path without leveling up from an easier level (yellow to green to blue to black). We did the twilight rate and only had time for the yellow, green, and blue. The green and blue were really fun, and had great Zipline and Jump elements built in. We were told the black is a real workout, not quite American ninja warrior hard, but hard. The equipment is very safe and the staff is well trained. They use a tweezle ropes system which is very safe with built in redundancies. Some of the yellow path equipment could use some tightening. Bathrooms were nasty. All in all, we had a blast and wished we could have spent all day there. This was the best ropes course we have ever tried.

What took so long is the printing and picking out pictures. Never again. Find another one that is friendly with fast service.

Mike Glasser, the business owner, and his wonderful assistant worked with my kids in taking family portraits. It's an event I wish I had taken video of as it would have been a great training video for future photographers. Mike and his associate worked their magic in getting the attention of my 5 great grandchildren, all little ones, with the youngest being handicapped. He got a world class family photo of both parents and 5 kids, no easy feat! Mike is experienced and has wonderful techniques for getting all to cooperate. His staff is well trained, experienced, while being cheerful and personable. The historic costumes and sets are extensive and creative. When we wake up, Cine asks what the plans for the day are and offers suggestions that we always take. They both take pride in the Lodge and the surrounding community. The rooms are clean and well cared for as well as the property. If you want to stay with them, call them, message them or book through their website for the best prices rather than using a third party booking agent. Sometimes the 3rd party doesn't have the codes or the excellent customer service that they offer. They are our home away from home and we're so happy we found them.
