This place impressed our whole family! Each of us had smiles for days. And the "adventures" in the name is exactly right: while kids can and do certainly enjoy it here, this isn't a "kiddie" park. The ziplines are long and fast, the ropes course is among the most extensive I've ever seen, and the tubing hill is ridiculously speedy. Add to that an addictive alpine slide, very friendly staff, and just the right size of park (you spend time having fun, not waiting in line) ... Perfect vacation experience. We already want to come back!

Really fun and great for the family, we only did the alpine slide, tubing, and 800ft zip line and all of them where a blast! You also get to get on the ski lift to go the top for alpine sliding and on the way you get to see the pretty view and items dropped by people if you look down. At the top there is a dinner that we didn't eat but it looked great and around it was a beautiful garden with lots of flowers. Bathrooms by the way are not the best as they are small and crowded but Over all great place.

Very cool and fun place for the whole family. I would say it is quite pricey and I wish that the cost included more than one chance to ride, but was overall a cool experience. Got my 9 year old and 15 year old $80 package which seems like the best bargain and they had a blast. Very busy place so plan accordingly! Overall a great, fun place to enjoy with kids... About 1 mile from Mt Rushmore...

This was awesome!! Myself, hubby and teenage son went today and we all absolutely loved it! They were running a special since it's off season so we were able to do all 3 activities for the price of one, so all 3 of us had the wristbands to ride what we wanted as many times as we wanted. First, we did the Zipline Ride, which was way faster than I expected, so my husband and son got a kick out of me screaming like a two year old, lol. But I loved it so much I rode it twice! Second, we rode The Robot and Wolves shooting game...loved it!! But by then we were coming close to the 1 pm Cave tour and didn't want to miss it so decided to come back to do the last shooting game. Third, the one hour cave tour...awesome! Our tour guide was Cody and he was absolutely wonderful!! Very knowledgeable about the history of the cave, explained everything so that it was easy to understand, even for children, and spoke loud and clear enough so that even those that were a little bit behind could still hear. I would note that it's some very steep stairs so if you're not able to walk or climb it could be difficult. There are also some pretty tight, small, and short areas as well so people over 5 feet will do lots of ducking. All in all, I thought this was an awesome tour for people of all ages. Fourth, we returned to the last shooting game of Los Banditos and that just as fun as the other two! And last, we rode the Rushmore Mountain Coaster. These are single or double(with a small child) carts that are like riding a roller coaster and it is soooo much fun! We rode these twice as well! We had an absolute blast at this park today and I can't wait to go back again. The best thing was because it's off season there were no lines!! They also have a great gift shop with tons of unique items! If you're in the Keystone area you should definitely go here. You won't be disappointed!

My family had so much fun here. I paid 50$ for 3-4-8 year old and 2 adults to get us on the chairlift, and coming back down on the slide . Its your opinion to get back down on the chairlift, but I decided to experiment the slides with my kids... Beautiful place. No age restriction. I will comeback for the zip line... There is so much you can do here with kids...

The kids had alot of fun but I was told 3 times my kids would be able to ride the lift to the top after they used their 2 slide tickets each. I was waiting at the top for them so we could eat at the restaurant overlooking the monument, I got a call from my kids saying they were not letting them on the lift. So I had to ride to the bottom to meet up with my kids and they said I would have to pay 50 more dollars (on top of the 186 I already spent) for all 5 of us to ride back to the top. Needles to say we didn't eat at their restaurant. I was very dissatisfied with their employees telling me 3 separate times that they would be able to ride back up after their last slide ride.

Zip Line & Aerial Adventure Park

Zip Line & Aerial Adventure Park

This is a bait and switch establishment. Told us the Alpine Slide was down but would open up later…read moreso they convinced us to buy the Ultimate Pass to take advantage of the time we would have to wait for the Slide. And if the Slide was never opened they would refund us the price of what the a la carte slide price would be. We did the Aerial adventure for 2 hours and slide still closed. So we did the zip line and tubes but still no slide. It was time for us to go so I went back to the office and was told they would not refund us as we already did everything but the slide and jump. Wtff! It was fun but NOT worth almost $200 for 2 people. ONE STAR for the staff who were all super cool and helpful. ONE STAR for the aerial adventure being a fun 2 hour experience.

If you are up for some adrenaline rush and physical exertion (can you climb a 20ft wobbly rope…read moreladder that makes you feel inverted), then definitely add this to your Mt Rushmore vacation itinerary. Located just 5-8 mins from the Mt Rushmore parking lot. We started of with a $35 package 800ft Zipline and "bungee" jump for the boys and $25 Zipline for us. TIP: don't waste your money on the jump, or the 800ft (15 second) Zipline. Go straight for the Aerial ropes course which have those elements built into several of their 8 paths/courses. We decided after that we wanted to do the 2hr Aerial adventure ropes course high in the trees, because it looked fun, well-built, new, and safe. TIP: They wouldn't re-bundle what we already did into a new package rate. Lame!!!! Buy what you think you might do up front. The regular rate is $49 for 2hrs or $10 less for 1h15m twilight pricing (after 5:00p). You have to start your last path by 6p. And you cannot try a higher difficulty path without leveling up from an easier level (yellow to green to blue to black). We did the twilight rate and only had time for the yellow, green, and blue. The green and blue were really fun, and had great Zipline and Jump elements built in. We were told the black is a real workout, not quite American ninja warrior hard, but hard. The equipment is very safe and the staff is well trained. They use a tweezle ropes system which is very safe with built in redundancies. Some of the yellow path equipment could use some tightening. Bathrooms were nasty. All in all, we had a blast and wished we could have spent all day there. This was the best ropes course we have ever tried.

This is a place you could easily spend more than a couple hours here…read more If you can get a hold of a rapid city visitors book (available at the visitors center or a stand with pamphlets for things to do in the area) look for a coupon. I found one after we had gone that would have given us a free pony ride with the purchase of a children's entry. BUT save your receipt as you can enter again within three days. The farm itself is very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our kiddos LOVED this place! You do pay extra for feed, pony rides (four/five laps around the arena) , or train rides. The pig race was fun to watch. They even encourage kids to guess which will win. Our kids loved watching and cheering for their pick to win. We spent some time around the playground as well. They had covered shelters around the playground so you can supervise your kids in the shade. There are restrooms on the grounds as well as in the gift shop. We didn't use the ones on the grounds, but the ones in the soft shop were very clean. We would visit again! All the animals were super friendly as well. (LOTS OF CUTE BABIES!) You can tell the staff cares and works hard to keep things clean.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat!…read more First of all, the service is always phenomenal. I am from North Dakota, so this isn't too far from home for me, but even if I lived across the country I would make a trip here at least once a year! Plus, how can you resist free range baby goats and sheep? The absolute best, and an instant mood lifter. My husband and I have been here probably a handful of times and I still get just as excited to make the trip here as I did the first time I ever went. We took our daughter, who is 18 months old, and it was the perfect first family trip we could have taken. It's fun for both children of all ages and adults! The price is even reasonable at roughly $19 per person and you can even buy a cup with feed for the animals at only $6. If you don't want to buy a cup for $6 they also have multiple feed dispensers that are 25¢ for a small handful. Once you walk out the door you are immersed into a whole farm experience. There are multiple animals that roam free -- such as chickens, goats, sheep, and even turkeys! You can feed them and even pet them (which I think is the best part) They have bathrooms available for people to use if needed, even pavilions for you to have a picnic. Most of the animals are in pens (excluding the few free-roaming ones) and some of the pens you can even go in and really get the whole petting zoo experience by being with the animals. They have pig races, baby goats with their mamas, and even baby bottle-fed cows, as well as baby chicks you can pet! This place will always hold a special place in my heart and is has been a favorite of mine, and now that my daughter also loves it, I will definitely be back and will recommend it to the whole world!!
