This is a BAIT & SWITCH!! Beware! They shut down some of the attractions due to under staffing yet sell you the package deals assuring you everything will open up or they will refund you for the closed down attraction. The day I went the alpine slide and chairlift were "closed" but since they promised they would refund that portion of it wasn't up and running by the end of the day I went ahead and purchased the Ultimate Pass. After 4 hours in the park we were ready to leave and slide and chairlift were still closed. Went back for refund only to find sales person was gone and current "manager" would not honor what they were saying earlier. I was staying across the street from this location and noticed after they had closed at 6pm, conveniently the chairlift started moving as employees sat at the bottom hanging out. We only wanted to do the slide and climbing attractions which would have been $70 but like I said we purchased the Ultimate pass for $90. We did have a good time and it was a vacation so I'm not gonna complain too much. The staff here at each attraction was really the only reason I'm adding an extra star. They were awesome and really looked out for everyone's safety and made sure everyone was having a good time. JUST DONT GET SUCKED INTO THEIR BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!! read more

My family did the zip line tour and the Alpine slide. Both were very fun. The harness was different than places we've been in the past. The harness is designed to put you in a seated position making it more comfortable. The experience was really made by the guides: Shane, Miguel, and Edwin. They were great. Pro tip: when on the Alpine slide slow down when the sign says slow down. I slipped off my sled resulting in minor injuries. read more

Great place to visit while in the Rushmore area. We visited the memorial in the morning and came here in the afternoon. There is quite a lot to do, but we did the aerial park, which is like a ropes challenge course. There are several courses to choose from, from beginner to easy, medium, and then hard. I made it to the medium level, and found it was sufficiently difficult for me. The kids had a blast and basically just took off and started doing as many courses as they could. Each course has its own zip line, and some have two. We spent about 2-3 hours on the courses, and that seemed to be the perfect amount of time. Felt like we got our money's worth, and were starting to tire out. Two recommendations. First, they allow you to fill out the waivers online prior to your visit. We did this, and it made it very convenient. Otherwise, there could be long lines if you wait to do this in person. Second, they recommend close toed shoes, and I echo that. I forgot and was in my Teva sandals. I was able to make my way around, but it would have been much better in shoes and may have provided the comfort level I needed to try a difficult course. read more

Really fun and great for the family, we only did the alpine slide, tubing, and 800ft zip line and all of them where a blast! You also get to get on the ski lift to go the top for alpine sliding and on the way you get to see the pretty view and items dropped by people if you look down. At the top there is a dinner that we didn't eat but it looked great and around it was a beautiful garden with lots of flowers. Bathrooms by the way are not the best as they are small and crowded but Over all great place. read more

This was awesome!! Myself, hubby and teenage son went today and we all absolutely loved it! They were running a special since it's off season so we were able to do all 3 activities for the price of one, so all 3 of us had the wristbands to ride what we wanted as many times as we wanted. First, we did the Zipline Ride, which was way faster than I expected, so my husband and son got a kick out of me screaming like a two year old, lol. But I loved it so much I rode it twice! Second, we rode The Robot and Wolves shooting game...loved it!! But by then we were coming close to the 1 pm Cave tour and didn't want to miss it so decided to come back to do the last shooting game. Third, the one hour cave tour...awesome! Our tour guide was Cody and he was absolutely wonderful!! Very knowledgeable about the history of the cave, explained everything so that it was easy to understand, even for children, and spoke loud and clear enough so that even those that were a little bit behind could still hear. I would note that it's some very steep stairs so if you're not able to walk or climb it could be difficult. There are also some pretty tight, small, and short areas as well so people over 5 feet will do lots of ducking. All in all, I thought this was an awesome tour for people of all ages. Fourth, we returned to the last shooting game of Los Banditos and that just as fun as the other two! And last, we rode the Rushmore Mountain Coaster. These are single or double(with a small child) carts that are like riding a roller coaster and it is soooo much fun! We rode these twice as well! We had an absolute blast at this park today and I can't wait to go back again. The best thing was because it's off season there were no lines!! They also have a great gift shop with tons of unique items! If you're in the Keystone area you should definitely go here. You won't be disappointed! read more

Made for a disappointing part of our trip. I wish the employees treated people better. Hardly any of them were helpful, or made eye contact. I have never done half of this stuff, but they just hand me a slide and expect me to know how it works. There was no guidance on the alpine slide, and they made me feel stupid. My sister has never ziplined before. I assured her the guide would help her but he was clueless! I went ziplining in Colorado and it was very professional. It can be dangerous if it's not done right, so I don't appreciate how the employees glossed over the safety rules. We were also told by an employee to stand in the wrong area, so we didn't get a picture of her going down the line. Overall, I had a big issue with how inconsiderate and uncaring the employees were. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

The kids had alot of fun but I was told 3 times my kids would be able to ride the lift to the top after they used their 2 slide tickets each. I was waiting at the top for them so we could eat at the restaurant overlooking the monument, I got a call from my kids saying they were not letting them on the lift. So I had to ride to the bottom to meet up with my kids and they said I would have to pay 50 more dollars (on top of the 186 I already spent) for all 5 of us to ride back to the top. Needles to say we didn't eat at their restaurant. OK you're in a tourist town and this a quintessential tourist thing to do. The options in this place are a bit confusing. There are ropes courses, a semi bungee type of thing, ziplines, aerial tram way and alpine sled. First step, go the "white" tent and sign the waivers. It's actually grey but it's white on the inside. Next go pay for what you want to do. If you choose the alpine sled you get to take the aerial tram to the top, explore the garden and views up there and then hop on the sled and head back down. If you only pay for the tram and after going up and seeing all the people sledding town, no worries, you can go to the cafe and spend $2 to upgrade your tram ticket to the alpine sled. Some of the ziplines look terrifying but fun. The prices are a bit high so expect to work over some bucks in this place. read more

This place was fun but expensive for the amount of time you get. Zip-lining lasted about a minute before you get to the bottoms. Even though it was fun it was frustrating how short it was for how expensive it was. I am assuming this is to keep too many people from doing it so it does not get flooded with people. The slide was so fun though and is definitely worth the money. If you have young ones get more than one time down the slide. If you are an adult one time should satisfy your need. My fiancé and I bought a second slide down but didn't end up using it because we were done by then because the line to go back up is so long. We went as a group of 4 to do the large zip line. My husband and friends husband went first. My friend and I were harnessed up to go and my friend panicked and was scared and changed her mind. She was really upset. The employee working today was really kind of a bitch. Didn't say a word to her except that she needed to know right that second if she wanted to be unhooked and if she unhooked her she wouldn't have another opportunity. Totally understand this, but how about having some compassion for people doing a zip line for the first time and explaining how things work instead of being a bitch. read more

Rushmore from the second platform because of very dense fog, but that also made it cool to take off and disappear. My Grandson and I have been on a couple of excellent Zip line adventures and the Pinnacle Zip Tour in Keystone SD was a great experience. Jay and Cody, our Guides and Safety support were engaging and informative. They took there time to calm fears and assure the well being of the group. The alpine slides are so fun!!!! The closest alpine slides to our home are over 5 hours away, so we were excited to see some in Keystone. They are spendy, but we looked into the prices before our trip, so it wasn't a surprise. We spent $80 on 10 slides (2x each for our family of 5). Tip: Be sure to take some time and explore the park at the top!! It's a breathtaking view!! There is also a restaurant at the top. We intended on eating lunch there that day, between our slide rides, but the weather didn't cooperate and we went later in the afternoon :(. read more

My fiancé and I rode the tube slide. We were one of first people to ride it, as it just opened up. It was a blast!! I definitely recommend it. The downside is that you need to be given directions and they are given by those who are very difficult to understand due to language barrier.And when it comes to safety, you need to be able to properly give directions that are clearly stated. read more

Set up was confusing. Devices provided to fill out waiver did not work properly. There were no employees in that area to get help with the devices, I had to hunt one down. Then when she arrived she helped the other customers having the same issue before I was helped. There was no instructions given on where to go for the activity at the time we bought our tickets. When we asked where to go to do the activities, we received an eye roll and then the employee just pointed in the general direction. When we got on the ride it was not even enjoyable. The employee at the top of the hill told me to go down the slide, about a quarter of the way down I was behind a woman with a child and had to hold the brake the entire time. When we got to the end we had to pick up the cart and take it over and stack it up, even though there were 3 employees just standing there. Not sure what their job was?? I think the whole operation could be ran a hell of a lot better with a lot less employees. We will not return. Good luck to who ever owns this business, you're going to need it! read more

Action packed adventure! Went with a group of 6 friends from college and we all had a blast. We enjoyed the aerial park the best. We all started off with the easier, lower rope and after that several of us decided to take on the higher ropes. We did the tram, slide, zip line and aerial park- spent half the day here. This place has so much potential to be great. The activities are fun, however we came because we read the COVID statement on their website which stated all the staff and patrons are required to wear a mask. When we arrived social distancing was not enforced, not one employee was wearing a mask and we were one of five family's out of hundreds wearing masks. On the ropes course, my harness kept getting stuck. My family along with the family behind us all had to work on it several times. When we called for help the staff told me "i just need to squeeze harder" which clearly wasn't the case. This place seems like it needs better trained staff (who also follow the CDC guidelines) -- not rude 14 year olds. Very disappointing and really unsanitary. read more

I really couldn't say enough great things about this place!! First, i will mention that we did the Pinnacle Zip Line tour as soon as we got there and it was amazing!! It was exhilarating, gorgeous and just overall fun. The views we unbelievable and the actual zip line machine was super cool, all while feeling completely safe at all times. Nick & DeMarra (tour guides) were very professional, knowledgeable and great to talk to. If you're in the area, this is a MUST GO. The price for this tour might seem like it's overpriced, but it's WELL worth the money. Second, after the tour, we realized that we were running out of time & couldn't do either of the other two things we had already purchased tickets for; the staff of Tramway Adventures were beyond accommodating with this and refunded our money so it wasn't wasted (which we honestly didn't expect at all). It was a perfect cherry on top to our day there! I will warn that if you buy any of the other options, in addition to the Pinnacle Zip Tour, do them first because nothing will compare after you get done with that. We had to make sure it was dry enough to ride so the patient crew kept checking the slide every few minutes.
