So much fun! The family had a blast, even Grandpa! We were only going to do the slide once but came back for a second slide! $100 for 5 people and two times down the slide is a bit steep but I would do it again in a heartbeat! read more

We had SO MUCH FUN on this!! Sure, it is a bit of a splurge, but kids and adults alike both loved it and it was truly fun and had a great view from up-top the ski-lift. They do have a little restaurant up there with some sandwiches, etc and it was actually pretty decently priced. Very nice job with the landscaping up there, too. They do have photo ops on the ski-lift for a pretty penny. Our photo turned out great though, so we splurged on a copy. Overall, it was super fun, and we would definitely do this again. read more

Fun time, but be careful. This place has a 'ski lift' to take you to the top of a hill with some nice views of the surrounding Black Hills. At the top they have a small snack shack and of course the start to the Alpine Slide. This is a fun activity and my daughter and I went down twice together. They have two separate runs, with one allowing two people to go at a time. Our first run was a blast and we both had a good time. Our second run didn't go so well however. We went into the second corner a little quick and ended up tipping over (you control the brake!). This resulted in some serious loss of skin unfortunately. So remember, you control your speed, and on this ride you can crash. read more

My kids had the time of their life. When we booked our trip to Mt Rushmore, the visitor center was still open, as were Wind Cave and Jewel Cave National Parks. Come trip time and not only is the Mt Rushmore Visitor Center closed for renovations (and the access around it) but both Caves as well due to elevator issues. Rushmore Tramway Adventures to the rescue. The kids each got Ultimate passes and we bought a 10 pack of Alpine Slide tickets in addition. The kids loved the tubing mountain so much we got them each a 3 run pass to end out the day. We were there from 1 until 7 and the kids had the time of their life. My wife in I each did an Alpine Slide (or two) and my mother in law even tried the jump tower. The staff was all super friendly and helpful, and we believe we got a good value for what we paid. No, it's not the cheapest attraction in the area, but it's one you'll remember. Oh, and in case you're wondering my kids are 7 and 17. read more

Everyone that worked here was extremely helpful and nice! The trip is well worth it and my family would return in a heart beat! Memories to be made doing the aerial park and the alpine slide was an experience I have never done. Worth every penny. read more

Very expensive, unfriendly staff, poorly kept, not worth it. Not impressed with the food or service, I'd rather spend my time and money elsewhere. I do not recommend going to the Rushmore Tramway, I think it is a poorly run business. read more

We took the zipline tour. It was spectacular. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The views were great. I would highly recommend. read more

We showed up at 6:30pm hoping to get a ride in. The gal at the front desk was more than accommodating and all smiles saying oh you have plenty of time. All 7 of us rushed to sign waivers and head up the ski lift (7 min tops) ($82.50 later) we are on our way up for the Alpine slide. As we get to the top We see 4 people head down and we are so excited to see smiles ear to ear. We get near the top and I get a drop of rain on my glasses. I can see the ride operator on the phone. As we dismount the chair lift we are ushered to return to the other end heading down. They shut the ride down for rain. Do they have signs about weather related issues YES! But, I had maybe 4-8 drops of raIn on me. And by the time we made it to the top it had stopped. Lexi "the manager" the person who had sold us the tickets just 15 minutes prior. With her smirk just said well its policy. We leave tomorrow morning 4am. With $82.50 less money and 3 bummed kids and 4 burned adults. It feels as this is a tourist trap. They know most will never return and they don't care because they will just keep getting money from the sucker tourist. I wouldn't be surprised if she and the other workers had this planned and just split/ pocketed the money, (we paid cash)They were all pretty happy unloading us off the ski lift, knowing we just got screwed! Don't go here especially if there are clouds in the sky. read more

It was fun and a nice view! It was a little pricey for just one ride, $12 a pop is a lot of a family of 4! The kids loved it and wanted to go again but I am a teacher and single mom and can't do that multiple times. I wish we could of gone more. read more

Our family of 5 went on the big zip-line. It was fun, but a bit pricey. $15 per person (no discount for kids) plus tax. Took more time for all of us to get harnessed up than it took to zip down the line. Thought they could have let us go down another ride for the price we paid for our family, but that wasn't the case. Besides the price, we loved our visit. Nice people, beautiful scenery, and very safe. read more

Fun place EXCEPT the employees do not explain package options. We bought things separately and found out later at home there were packaged deals. Was very frustrated they chose to take more money and the easy way out vs explaining options. Spent double the money we should have. Definitely ask more questions than we did / they are not helpful! Kids waited 20 min to get on the zip line park - no one ahead of them. We had to ask twice if anyone was going to get them started. read more

The zip line was awesome! My 8 year old son was a little scared and the staff talked to him and got him through his fear. Well worth the cost. The ropes course was great and it is something that pushes you and when you are finished you feel confident and proud of yourself for completing it. If you have kids make sure they are 50 lbs and at least 7 years old otherwise they won't be able to do all that is offered. read more

Rushmore Tramway Adventures - Amusement Parks Near Me - Keystone, South Dakota

We got there just before they closed the window for the night and they were nice enough to let us buy tickets after a long drive. We did the free fall and the Zip Line, which were alot of fun. The best part was that there must not have been to many people willing to do the free fall because alot of the employees came over to watch. We wish we would have had more time to do all the other activities so maybe on our next trip. They even gave us a discount on the pictures we bought because they were closing. Definitely would suggest going. Worth the money and fun. read more

Expensive- $10 a pop, but totally worth it. Ski lift gives a few good views of Mt. Rushmore. At the top be sure to explore various viewpoints & the natural waterfalls. Teens work & could care less, but it's a safe environment. Slide downs definitely a thrill! Don't be afraid of speed. Needs a facelift. read more

High priced. Low fun and the kids working at admission office were very poorly trained

WOW! We had a blast, at Rushmore Tramway Adventures, taking advantage of the tramway (a ski lift), the Alpine Sleds; and, the original Zip Line, which is all of 800 feet. It was so relaxing to sit on the ski lift and be taken up to the mountain top. Views of Mt. Rushmore are fleeting; but, quite dramatic; and, enjoyable along the way. At the top, they have a restaurant and a small park; and, what will soon be an impressive Zip Line "Tour" with three or four lines much greater in distance and height than the original. The Zip Line we took wasn't too tall, or too long; but, still was fun, with ample, expert staff to ensure a safe and thrilling experience. The Alpine Sleds are a blast; and, we took two turns, which ensure two trips on the tramway. What a great time. Our less adventurous friend (not the guy that sat our dessert and wine); simply took the tram both ways; and, enjoyed a local brew at the top. read more

Wonderful family time after seeing Mt. Rushmore! We have an 8 and 9 year old and they had a blast. They mastered the ropes course with ease (don't worry that the "lesson" you get is brief). read more

Being a native of Colorado, I am well versed in high adrenaline activities. The Pinnacle zip line tour far surpassed the standard adrenaline rush. We did 5 zip line tours ranging from 500 feet to 1500 feet, perfectly capturing the picturesque view of the black hills and framing Mt. Rushmore in a never seen vantage point. The speed of the zip lines were fast enough to be exciting but slow enough to be able to take in all the scenery. The guides were professional and knowledgeable about the black hills. We felt safe 100% of the time with them. When traveling to Mt Rushmore, this should be your first stop for families or anyone who enjoys adventure. read more

Wow!!! What a really fun and affordable place to visit in South Dakota! I found out about this place when I was researching things to do in South Dakota (besides Mount Rushmore). I'm so glad I found this place. They have so many things you can do. You can do a scenic chairlift to the top and eat at their cafe, which faces Mount Rushmore ($9). You can also do the alpine slide ($12), which comes with a scenic chairlift ride to the top. Finally, they have a ropes course ($39) and a zipline ($15). I've done ziplining and a ropes course before, so we decided to do the alpine slide. They have a military discount so our tickets were only $10. I've done enough chairlifts in my life as an active skiier so that wasn't too amazing, but still WAY better than walking all that way to the top. After checking out Mount Rushmore from the cafe (man are those faces tiny), my husband and I took the alpine slide down. What I really like is that they have two lanes so you can race down to the bottom. I thought the slide was SO much fun. It was definitely worth the $10, especially considering that you get to control how fast or slow you go, which is nice. We didn't have time to check out more of the place because we were on a schedule, but I could definitely see coming back to try ziplining and/or the ropes course. In sum, a great way to spend part of your day in Keystone. read more

The ride itself was fun, but it took us 2 hours just to go down twice and the line didn't seem very long. They really need to come up with a better system, or at least give people an estimate of how long it's gonna take so you can plan around it. We did these alpine slides all over Europe, and it was always a quick 10 min deal. The ridiculously long wait killed the rest of our afternoon plans. read more

Expensive and very dangerous. Do not take your young child down the slide. My husband and daughter went down together and their cart malfunctioned and they fell off onto the slide itself. My husband had to hold our 6 year old daughter up so her face didn't get road rash. He had road rash on hand, forearm and knee at one point we were afraid he was getting staph infection, but we combated with proper ointment. Several weeks later, he still has the battle wounds that will scar. They make you sign waivers for a reason. read more

It was fun but it was pricey. $95 to go 4 times for 5 people. The kids had a blast but the younger 2 had to ride down with an adult which makes it hard on both of us. Overall a lot if fun and would do it again read more
