Very Unsatisfied: The delivery associate was not gentle with the items to be delivered and the quality of the roses delivered was below par - photos are provided of the products delivered. A broken vase and dead rose petals are not acceptable. I also purchased the service upgrade for delivery between 12pm-3pm and the flowers were delivered around 530-6pm. The customer service agent said the standard hours of delivery are 9am-8pm but failed to regard the purchased delivery time promise. I would strongly recommend against purchasing any products or services from 1-800-Flowers. Upon my attempt to contact customer service for a friendly resolution, I waited about 30 minutes for an associate. I spoke with Tori. The associate was friendly and very apologetic. I was put on hold mid-call for about 30 more minutes. They offered a complete replacement of the products - I denied this offer as I had already made other arrangements. I was then offered a full refund of the purchase. Customer Service: 6/10 Quality of Product: 2/10 Quality of Service: 2/10 Average Overall Quality: 10/30 read more

Ten years ago I got my mom some mother's day tulips from 1800 flowers. Crushed, wilted, sad, and embarrassing to give to my mother as a gift. Here we are, ten years later and 1800 flowers still sends embarrassingly sad looking arrangements, if you can even call it that. My boyfriend spent $100 on these for me for Valentine's Day...yep you heard me right. ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. I never write reviews quite literally EVER. This situation deemed it necessary. Go to your local florist, stay away from this website. You're even better off going and getting a supermarket bouquet arrangement. It's forcing me give one star but I give it Negative -100000 stars. False advertisement. Abysmal pricing. They are a scam. read more

I would honestly not recommend ordering from this website. I purchased a casket display for my grandpa's funeral. The company took the money out of my account, and the flowers were delivered to the funeral home and displayed on his casket during the visitation. However, they forgot to include the banner that said "Beloved Grandpa." They told me they would bring the banner the next morning before the funeral. When I arrived for my grandpa's funeral the next morning, the flowers were gone. I later found out that someone from the company had come back and taken the casket spray because they claimed they had not been paid, even though the money had already been withdrawn from my account. This happened on one of the hardest days of my family's life. No family should have to experience something like this during a funeral. I hope anyone considering this business will think carefully before ordering. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend read more

I cannot believe how bad and disorganized the customer service for my order has been. After having gotten the delivery address wrong in their system twice, I canceled the order for a refund and even after receiving the email confirmation of a refund, was called by a customer service rep to 'confirm' the address for delivery. The right hand most certainly doesn't know what the left hand is doing and I won't be using 1-800-FLOWERS again. read more

They completely missed the delivery date. Then tried to bend me with a redelivery. Horrible service!

Agreed ruined my anniversary. Asked all day or an update all they said was " before 8pm"....730 note says "delivered". But it wasn't.... no recourse but we will re deliver tomorrow....what a crap show. Won't even give the name of the local shop to give them my .02 about ruining my anniversary... Don't use them...this was my last lesson read more

This may have been the worst experience I have ever had with a nationally recognized organization. I understand how busy a company can be during peak holiday, but this was and has been handled completely wrong. Ordering $150 worth of flowers and accepting the price, the extra shipping costs, for a special occasion. My flowers were supposed to be for my wife and delivered to her workplace. Received a message saying they would be delivered between 11-1pm. After 1pm, received a message saying between 11-3pm... after 3pm received a message that now says "by the end of the day". The business closed at 5pm and my wife's Valentine's Day gift was not delivered. That's not the end. Next was the customer service for both 1800Flowers and their delivery service FedEx. Not only could neither business locate where the flowers were, after 5pm, but the window now was "we deliver up until 8pm". I sat at the business from 530pm, in the parking lot, until 8pm, where no flowers were delivered. Again, still not done. I spoke with a representative from 1800Flowers, that at least offered some type of compensation. She said a 50% refund, delivery tomorrow, and a $10 credit somewhere else. To at least have flowers that I paid for, be delivered next day, I accepted the offer. Also requested for the existing flowers that were just not delivered, to be dropped off at a local location to potentially get something. It gets better. Not only were the flowers not delivered to our house today, Saturday, but the shipping now says 2/18, almost a week after Valentine's Day and the flowers that were on the delivery truck, have somehow magically disappeared or are still in the FedEx truck. I will never use 1800Flowers again, I will not tell others to not, that is their choice, but this experience has been absolutely miserable. I am out $150, have not received a refund, no flowers, and "may"'receive them between 9am-8pm, almost a week after the day they were meant for. read more

When I was 13 years old, I came home from school on my birthday and a beautiful flower arrangement had been delivered for me. The card said, "I just wanted to be the first guy to ever send you flowers. Love, Dad" I still have the card tucked in an album with a couple of the dried flowers. It still means the world to me almost 40 years later. My husband and I wanted to carry on the tradition and he ordered these beautiful roses for D with a similar card. They never came. He called them last night and they said they would be delivered today. They never were. I called them today. You know what they offered me? They could reorder them and have them delivered on FRIDAY or give me a partial refund and a $15 credit on a future order. Oh I told them there was no way I was trusting them to deliver them a third time and no way was I taking a credit for a future order because I was never ordering from them again! I told them they were going to give me a full and complete refund including tax and shipping. The kicker? I waited on hold for over an hour and heard over and over from the CEO how important relationships were, both for them with their customers and for us with our friends and family. You blew it 1-800-Flowers.com and also blew any chance of making it any semblance of right! read more

I ordered flowers ($86) for my wife on Valentines day. The delivered bouquet wasn't EXTRA-LARGE as advertised and it began to stink like a restaurant dumpster after 4 days. She changed the water twice and it didn't help and she had to to toss them before a week had passed. My mistake for waiting another week before contacting 1800FLOWERS (I'm working 10-12 hours a day) and at first they said they would replace them, then after a 15 minute delay said they couldn't do anything. I even pay to be a 1800FLOWERS "Passport" member! Save your money! Get a cheap bunch of flowers from Wal-Mart it'll look better & last longer. read more

Paid $100 for a bouquet, got an email confirmation it was delivered to find out it was not. When I call 1-800 flowers they tell me it was fulfilled by a local florist but didn't have access to which florist for privacy reasons. DO NOT waste your money. I wish I could give them zero stars. Order was marked as delivered. I reached out to my mother she checked outside and nothing. She has a Ring doorbell nobody ever came. Placed an order online and selected the Apple Pay option. When I selected Apple Pay, the computer automatically finalized my order without giving me any opportunity to verify/change delivery address. It automatically assumed delivery to my personal address when this order needed to be delivered to my mother's address for mother's day. The website immediately gave me not options to adjust or modify my order. I called customer support and they were unable to change the delivery address on my order as well, and this was 1 week in advance and 10 min after placing the order. This simple request and their inability to help me became very suspicious. They decided to ask me to provide another credit card number over the phone after I had been speaking to them for 40 minutes already and put on hold numerous times. After the conversation ended I check my bank account, and it shows they attempted to charge me a 2nd time while I was on the phone with them. Luckily my Bank of America automatically declined it. None of the service team seemed to be from the United States as well. All if this was very suspicious activity and I do not recommend this company to anyone. I will be filing legal action if I do not see a refund of $155 which is what I was charged without my approval. Terrible business here. read more

A complete and total rip-off. Ordered flowers for my wife to be delivered to her place of business. "Attempted delivery" (supposedly) and failed. Re-ordered the next day, indicated first available delivery the following day (so now we are on 3 days). Received email saying "sorry, but we were unable to deliver as ordered, please contact customer service. Called customer service number, forwarded to a call center in India, who offered me a refund. I asked why the order couldn't be processed, they said the local florist would now fill the order for $109 (original price was $60). Do not order from 1800 Flowers. Placed an order for flower delivery for funeral services. 15 min after confirmation I received email that flowers were delivered, which I knew was not possible. Scam!! Bait and switch with cheap knockoffs. You will not get what you order or what you pay for. We ordered a nice plant and got the "pinterest fail" version of what we ordered. It is comparable with ordering a fake product on wish.com, with out the deep discounts. My husband thought he ordered a planter for the porch, with a plant that can be later planted in the yard when it outgrows the pot. Beautiful flower arrangements!! But not worth the headache. Long story short. The check out process was confusing and customer service really messed up. Long story.. I used Apple Pay which may have been the problem. I believe because of the Apple Pay check out, I was not able to specify any of the details. It used my billing address as the delivery address and I believe they used the next nearest date of delivery as the delivery date. I wrote a note in the note section and it was not processed. Contacted customer service to fix the delivery address and date immediately after the payment processed because I saw everything was wrong when I viewed my receipt..despite the fact the website told me that I could make changes within 15 minutes of ordering without customer service. I then contacted the Apple business chat that will text you you for assistance. I successfully changed the date of delivery and tried changing the delivery address. Come to find out on the day of delivery, the flowers Came to the billing address instead of the address I requested over the chat. I then contacted the customer service again to ask if they could deliver the flowers to the right address. I got extremely close to fixing the mix up.. but I had mistyped one letter in the address I gave.. i though I was done but the assistant came back asking about it.. I did not respond until 6 minutes later but it was too late because they had already signed off. I then quickly got ahold of another assistant and they tried helping me but couldn't because I guess the other assistant had my file open still or something. I have now just got on the chat with another assistant and I believe everything is fixed now BUT I will say that it took me 2 minutes to respond to them at one point and they asked if I was still there and hinted that they were going to sign off the chat soon if I didn't respond. I understand they need to sign off if someone doesn't respond but I think it would Have provided me with a better customer service experience if they let me take a little more time to let me respond at some points in the conversation. I probably won't order from 1800 flowers any time soon because of all of this headache I have experienced. read more

I got an email stating it delivered but it dint actually deliver. I called, again, they offered a redelivery at no change!! Wow!! Thanks. They changed my order to a different item and schedule for Feb 5 since Feb 3 has already passed and the 4th was Sunday. The 5th, I get the email that it delivered but again it did not actually delivered. I had been told they would use I different florist for the redelivery but that had been a lie. No one in my family will be using them again. We had used them in the past and ordered extra-large arrangements. We never checked with the recipients to see if that is what they got and it appears that it isn't. Due to a 4 day late delivery this year, my brother sent me a picture of what I should have gotten (an extra large bouquet with 12 white roses and other lavender colored flowers). What I got was a small with 4 white roses and a few lavendered color stems. If he hadn't sent me the picture of what I should have gotten, we never would have realized that they were short changing (stealing) from us as I've always told my brother how pretty the arrangements are each year when I get them. We contacted them, they were supposed to send me replacement flowers and reimburse him. My replacement flowers were still not the extra-large that was ordered. We can not recommend them to anyone both due to late delivery, poor communication (they had told my brother they would call and apologize for missing my birthday), and failure to provide the size bouquet paid for (and we wonder how many years that has been going on for). read more
