Artwork and seating along the wall during the day

The premier beer garden in Merced, this pub house has a rotating draft always with awesome options from a variety of breweries! They have canned beer, bottled beer, draft beer, wine, and bar snacks. The bartenders are very pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. The walls are filled with artwork from local artists. The lighting inside is dim and makes for a sensual vibe. There's also outdoor seating available on a small, but cozy patio. This place is versatile in that you can bring your date here for a romantic evening after dinner, or catch a vibe with some friends! Would highly recommend

Very friendly and beer-passionate bartenders make this place a fun visit. Good crowd for a Monday night. Baseball on TV, interesting local beer selection, clean and modern feel in the little downtown of Merced.

I am overtly happy to see a place like this in Merced providing a much needed dose of delicious and well-made quaffables. It's like an oasis of magnificent nectar in a desert of Natural Ice. Small (it may get crowded) but with decent seating, excellent selection of craft beer (both bottle & tap) and knowledgeable folks behind the bar with friendly attitudes. If I lived in Merced, I'd be here every week. 4-pour flights for $10; if you're not sure which beers to try, try them all!

This public house is smaller than I am used to, but even though they have a small drink menu; the 12-20 beers that they do stock are quality brews. They do a great job providing a variety of beers from breweries of all sizes, many of which are local to California. Most of the menu consists of common everyday beers from Coronado, Heretic, and Flying Dog, but if you stop in at the right time, you can catch some tasty seasonal selections like 21st Amendment's Hell or High Watermelon. Prices are comparable to any other bar in the area, a 12oz beer will cost between $4-$6 each with specialty items being priced accordingly.

hmm it was either 7 or 10$ for a flight ...

Too bad this place opened after I graduated, I would have hung out here more often. Air conditioned place, but it is quite small, and fills easily in the afternoon. They have a good assortment of drinks with decent pricing. The only thing I wished they had was some snacks and food, but otherwise its a nice place to chill and catch up with friends. BTW only place in Merced (for now) that has serves the largest variety of craftbrews so we can't be too picky with what we have haha

Tanisha was very welcoming on my first visit, able to suggest where to eat (since I'm not from the area) to what to drink. Good selection on Tap, but I was looking for more local brew. Maybe another day, since taps are rotating.

Great craft beers served by great people! What more could you ask for. They have one of the largest varieties of craft beers, IPA's, ciders and a nice selection if wine too boot. Staff is knowledgeable and not pretentious. My favorite: Dogfishhead Burton Baton. Be careful, at 11% 2 of these can sneak up on you!

Right on main street and close to other bars. This pub is great for beer lovers. The Pine & Palm is delicious. Its a must try. They dont sell food or liquor. The bartender is friendly. They have a good wine list. Theres only one bathroom. Overall, i'll go back for the beer just not the atmosphere.

This server definitely deserves 5 stars! Now, the food. We heard good things about the burgers. We didn't have a burger however, we had a Jamwich? I'm not sure if that's the name but it's the fried chicken sandwich with various sauces. And we also tried the santa fe grilled chicken sandwich. I'm not sure of the name on this one either. The fried chicken sandwich apparently comes with two sauces. I only saw one and asked for it on the side because I like to taste the ingredients first. Well, it come with A LOT of the other sauce - maybe a Chipotle type sauce. I mean it was drowned in the sauce. The chicken was cooked in appearance but it ate like it needed more time in the fryer. It was kind of tough to the bite. If you're a chef or cook, you know what I'm talking about. The garlic fries are basic sidewinder fries dressed with parm and garlic. The other chicken sandwich was actually more enjoyable but the fries on that one were very very subpar. They do give large portions and the food looks good in appearance. We may come back to try the burgers since that's what was recommended.

She greeted us and sat us. Then we sat looking at the menu for over 10-15minutes and she still had not returned to even get our drink order. She finally returned and apologized for the long wait. We ordered our drinks and food since we were now ready. The food took quite some time to come out. But as we were waiting we noticed the tables around us still had not received their food as well. When our food finally arrived it was really good. We ordered the buttermilk ranch Chicken Sandwich with fries / sweet potato fries, double stack burger added egg on top with fries & kids chicken tenders. Chicken sandwich was perfect. Juicy on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside. My husband enjoyed the stack burger. The restaurant was clean and had they of had a hostess & busser to help out the waitress I believe the experience would have gone better. For this I deducted 1 star.

Our server was top notch and very well versed on the menu. They have a full bar and extensive menu. We started with the poke appetizer, which was amazingly flavorful. I was not expecting the ample amount and excellent quality of this dish. It's a must-try if you like raw fish. We also tried the bacon wrapped dates, which were awesome. The cashew nut inside is a pleasant addition. I ordered the 510 Penne for lunch and my son had the tortellini. Both were excellent. The chicken was very tender. It was a lot of food and we took some leftovers. They have a unique payment system whereby you can scan a barcode on the bill to pay your bill automatically. This was a nice touch and came in handy to pay quickly because rain was rolling in. Overall I highly enjoyed this restaurant and look forward to my next visit. There's parking nearby and it's close to lots of shops if you care to walk and shop.
