There's an open co-working space in the middle, and then offices of various member companies around the perimeter. They use a lot of cool techniques for separating spaces but making it feel large -- glass walls, hanging ivy for walls, etc. All the basics were well covered too -- internet was fast, the coffee and tea was free, and there as a fridge, two bathrooms stocked with some amenities, etc. Definitely will be back next time we visit Philly.

What was once shelves of gardening products and their unique backyard plant sales is now a lovely space with comfy chairs tables, a small kitchen and a backyard patio. Everything is accessible and sensory-friendly. The goal of this nonprofit is to bring together community members of all abilities, ages, social groups, etc. They have a broad variety of programming - everything from making your own yoga mat and painting with watercolors to cooking to tabletop gaming and movie nights. Their director is very good to work with and open to new and interesting programming that is inclusive. Groups can also rent the space for meetings such as Civic meetings and such, there is a fee if it's not an open-to-all activity. I've gone there twice for activities, and it was great both times. Highly recommend going for their activities and such. It's pretty cool.

Its like a home from home for me honestly. The offices are like a cross between Google and Facebook. Its super trendy and exciting. The staff are such a credit to We Work the community staff will make you feel like this is your home. Nothing is too much trouble and i love coming into work each day. The social aspect with the networking is fantastic also. If you want to be surrounded by amazing people in an incredible atmosphere. You have to be here to see it and believe it yourself! They even got some English Teabags for me so i didnt get homesick. Love these guys, love this place!

All other eateries are mentioned - the other bakery more than once. Second Daughter was a James Beard Foundation semifinalist in 2022 and there have been numerous accolades since. The other bakery, I noticed the last time I was there, offered a savory pastry that was quite similar to the one that Second Daughter has had on their menu for years. My understanding is that's a non-complete violation. Shame on Bok management for what appears to be biased [in]actions against Second Daughter.

After all, the building is rather convenient to pass through when it is raining, or if you feel like chilling out in a not often used, clean, indoor public space. Underneath the city of Philadelphia is an extensive network of tunnels, which generally connect modes of transportation, and a lot of the Penn Center buildings (which were once upon a time owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad). The Mellon Center at 18th and Market is one far extreme in this network of tunnels, allowing you to traverse underground to City Hall and beyond, which can be rather convenient in the winter and during a rainstorm. (Note that the connecting concourse to Suburban Station seems to close at about 7pm on weekday evenings and may be closed on weekends). The shops themselves are convenient - there's a gym, a cafe or two, a UPS store - but my favorite part of the building is the public space with tables and chairs that is nice for having lunch or hanging out for a bit while passing through. I'm not sure if there is any specific name for it, but I've heard to it referred to as the "winter garden" or the "arboretum" - but in some ways it resembles a greenhouse, with tons of windows to let light in, and a small fountain in the back. I've met my husband here several times for lunch, and it is a nice, often quiet spot, rarely full.
