This is the first time I've…read moreexperienced this, but this location will charge you a fee to print the actual packing slip and require you to email them the QR code they stick to the box. This is not the case if you were using Fedex down the street. The Fedex process is much easier. Walk-in and hand them the box and show them the QR code on your phone in which they will scan and you're on your way. Maybe it's because UPS stores are third-party. I'm not really sure but at UPS you will have to email them and they will charge you a fee to do so. It seems like with the technology that exists. It would just be easier for UPS to simply add it into their original cost of shipping instead of the two inconveniences of one having to pay more and then having to send an email when a scan should be sufficient. If their competitors can do it, they should be able to.

They are a 24/7 service, so they can fit into your schedule. We required a Saturday due to our work schedules. At the last minute, our underwriting wasn't going to be completed on time. I called David, he completely understood and rescheduled us for the following Saturday at 3:30 pm. Finding out Friday my husband had to work OT on Saturday, I had to reschedule for 5:00 pm. David's response, "No problem, if anything changes, let me know." David showed up right on time and called 10 minutes prior to arrival. He was super knowledgeable on the paperwork. He was also incredibly personable. Our experience was so positive, we made it a point to give our lender his card for others who may be in a similar situation. I support small businesses, especially this veteran owned one. Any notary needs we may have will go through Appalachian for sure! Thank you David!
