If you have a return from Amazon, be sure to print the label at home. This is the first time I've experienced this, but this location will charge you a fee to print the actual packing slip and require you to email them the QR code they stick to the box. This is not the case if you were using Fedex down the street. The Fedex process is much easier. Walk-in and hand them the box and show them the QR code on your phone in which they will scan and you're on your way. Maybe it's because UPS stores are third-party. I'm not really sure but at UPS you will have to email them and they will charge you a fee to do so. It seems like with the technology that exists. It would just be easier for UPS to simply add it into their original cost of shipping instead of the two inconveniences of one having to pay more and then having to send an email when a scan should be sufficient. I was in the this location just a few minutes ago. A lady was there trying to return 2 heavy boxes, however she only had one tracking number for the return. The customer service agent was extremely polite to her and tried to explain what the lady would need to do to get a second tracking number. However, "Karen" became extremely rude to her. What to say about this place, which used to be so much better. The alleged "manager", Carol is anything but. She absolutely has zero customer service skills. Very rude and combative with customers, who were not rude to her at all. This place has gone downhill since the previous owners and manager left six years ago or so. It's a sad joke. Carol should absolutely not be a manager of any kind. I've talked to multiple people who have left this store as customers and never went back. They use FedEx or Staples, which also does UPS and accepts prepaid dropoff packages. It's really easy to see the place has lost a lot of business..I wonder what it will take for the owners to actually do something. It's pretty obvious by their inaction they don't care either. We've always had great service here. Very handy for us traveling down for longer stays. We can always count on our shipped stuff being there to pick up on our way to our vacation! I don't have any bad comments about this store or the manager, I actually admire how focused she is and how to handle so many things at once. There was just the manager working and we were 4 people waiting for her (plus the phone calls), and she handled everything real good, didn't forget about what each person wanted and needed and did it as fast as she could. I've been to stores with more employees and taking double the time, in my opinion she did great, and add to all that she was very nice and even joking around, I would be kinda cranky with all the stuff going on at once. Hopefully they can find more employees so people don't have to wait that long, but she does a great job all on her own, that is a real accomplishment. I had them pack a large flat screen tv and they did such a poor job of it that the tv was severely damaged. It was an open-frame model which has sharp metal edges. I figured they were professional and could handle such a job, but i was very mistaken. I found that they put one layer of that large air bubble packing between the sharp metal edges and the box. The tv was going to a repair shop and this UPS store added at least 400 dollars to the repair bill. I advise to avoid this place and UPS in general. The company i work for has had a lot of damages from UPS (another story). And the lady mentioned in these posts is genuinely RUDE. Both they and UPS refused any compensation. Not surprising that they don't remember and want all kinds of details which have been given. read more

Im just letting yall know right now in the nicest way possible that i am unsatisfied with how yall handle packages. I ordered 2 candles from Ulta and they arrived broken. Im not sure if it was in transit, if it was dropped, or if my package was tossed on my porch when delivered but im very unhappy. Now y'all aren't totally at fault because the candles were not wrapped properly in bubble wrap. im just sayin if someone was at fault for the way they handle packages, do better. Great UPS location! I get my packages sent to this access point and the employees are always pleasant when I'm picking up. Parking can be tricky during peak hours so prepare for that. If you have a large vehicle you might have trouble getting turned around in the parking area. read more

I was unaware that delivery had been attempted more than once until I found the first and only notice that had fallen from my front door. I was also unaware that the shipper had requested a signature--from someone who WORKS and is not home during the day (imagine that). After speaking with someone at the 800 number for several minutes, I was disconnected before getting pickup information. When I called the local UPS store number, my call was rerouted to the 800 number--which sent me on an electronic roundabout with no exits or result. This store isn't what it used to be. Walt, the Manager from 2004 to 2016 left the store due to health reasons. He was always on top of things and kept the atmosphere friendly and inviting. It's not that way anymore. It really has no management now. I usually go to Staples now for UPS shipping or when I have to drop off a package. They also have supplies and better printing capabilities. The professionalism with the packing and shipping is gone. This and the great customer service and even friendship just isn't there anymore. avoid this store if you can!! asked about shipping a fairly small decorative pillow to friends for christmas. the woman (owner i presume) measures it, grabs a box, we stick it in, she weighs it, guy takes it to the back. ticket shows $14 & some change for shipping...i'm ok with that. but then she says $33 + total!!!!!! i questioned it and she says $17+ for the box "and labor"!!!! in no way indicated before of these rediculous charges. a $2 box and 20 seconds to put the pillow in for $17+ dollars out of my pocket plus shipping. i would even had been ok with paying 5 or 6 bucks for the box (she still should have told me first) but $17+ dollars...labor???? go someplace...anyplace else...these people are ready and willing to rip you off. read more
