The large interior has an industrial vibe while still feeling warm and welcoming, the courtyard outside is a perfect place to enjoy some sunshine (the upstairs is only open on the weekend). Get a cold brew or an iced latte or an iced Americano with oat milk - it's so good! They also have a few bakery items, including a vegan banana bread that is DELICIOUS (one of the best I've ever had). It's a thick, moist slab loaded with nuts and dried cranberries maybe? There's just something "more" to it that makes it special. I recently bought beans (flavor notes of "jammy" and "honey"; it's SO GOOD), and it seems like I can reuse the canister for a discounted refill the next time I'm here! I believe they even grind them if you want. They also have some really cool merch (tote bags [I own], beanies, shirts, etc). #CoffeeAndSocialSolidarity

We came to North Berwick from Edinburgh for the day via a very easy 30 min train ride. Steampunk is located in the back of a building on the main street of North Berwick. It is sparsely decorated but the theme seems to be related to bicycles. We stopped in for midday iced lattes and a snack. The lattes were good and I appreciate their to go cups and straws are all paper based. The granola bar we grabbed did not impress me at face value but wow was it delicious. Like chewy granola with some cinnamon added in. It was the perfect sweet pairing to the latte. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating here.

The tables have been moved to the front of the shop and the counter moved to the back which is a much better layout than when it was the other way around. It really opens up the place! I had a bacon and egg morning roll and it was ginormous! It was really tasty as well, but the poppy seeds seemed to go everywhere. I also had a bottle of orange juice which goes well with morning breakfast. The soft drinks are very good value. 50p for a can of Pepsi! A can of Coke on the other hand is £1, so maybe it is just the Pepsi products. The café seemed very popular with the builders who were refitting the Co-op next door because it was packed to the rafters with them!

I'm not really a fan of their drinks because the coffee machine waters everything down and always makes the drink PIPING hot. The food however is heavenly. They have a table full of cakes, scones and fresh bread from our very own artisan bakery in town! I am always tempted by the gorgeous empire biscuits and chocolate eclairs which are very big and extremely filling! But what the Glasshouse does best is breakfast. They have breakfast rolls (formerly known as Stotties) which are filled to the brim with sausage, bacon and egg and always make me feel ready to face the day ahead. Combined with a bottle of fresh orange juice, it makes a delicious breakfast. The toilets are pretty clean as well. There are about 5 toilets, all of which are always gleaming, as well as 3 sinks which have hot water that doesn't scald your hands, as well as the lemon scented paper towels which are really soft on your skin. I'm glad that the restaurant is set in a huge glass dome which creates a lovely bright atmosphere. It is also decorated with cute things like "palm trees" and fairy lights.

Their strong point is that they specialise ONLY in coffee! How cool is that! Most cafes have more items of food than tea and coffee so it becomes forgotten about and very poor but not here. There is a coffee menu and then some biscuits and shortbread for little nibbles. The hot chocolate is one of the best in Dunbar and is very foamy, frothy and light. My only problem would be is that there just aren't enough seats! There are 3 tables and a counter to choose from but these get filled up very quickly. They also sell coffee beans and coffee machines so you can learn to make coffee at home.

**WARNING** This is a lengthy review and you WILL be hungry after reading!…read more Just outside Perth and a short detour from the A9 lies Tibbermore (I know, cute right!), a typical 'blink and you'll miss it' kinda place, but really, just don't blink cos this place is awesome! It really does have it all - fresh fruit and vegetables all leafy and colourful, a gin lovers corner, wonderful cheese and meats deli, health foods section including a variety a GF flours, breads and oatcakes (try their own oatcakes, completely different from the brand that sounds like Talkers but sooo much tastier!), tray upon tray of freshly laid eggs...I could go on but you get the idea! And that's just the food section! They also have a glorious gift section where I could've easily spent a small fortune. Everything from kitchen gadgets to picnic baskets, kiddie gifts to Emma Bridgewater pottery and everything in between. I spotted a few local producers too which I loved as I always like to see locals businesses supporting each other. Then there's the café/restaurant which has a few outdoor tables but plenty inside if they're taken; the day I visited it was glorious but somehow we got lucky and got a table outside (my shoulders can prove that #scottishtan!...). The menu has lots of tasty options incorporating as much of their own produce as possible - I opted for the Homemade Chicken Liver pate while my parents both had the Smoked Ayrshire Ham & Gloagburn Curried Banana Chutney sandwich (Dad went hunting for the ham to buy later he was that impressed!). Once decided, we had to go inside and order at the counter; I'm not sure if this was due to us sitting outside or standard practise as when we asked for a second round of coffees (and some more oatcakes for me as I'd ran out!), a waitress came over with one of those electronic hand-held thingys to take that order so I wondered why she couldn't have done that initially, anyway, not really a star-affecting issue. Pricewise, we were just shy of £10/head for a sandwich and coffee (exc our 2nd coffee round), a tad steep but it's all fresh and local produce so I don't mind paying that when you know you're getting good quality (and it really was!). Given it's out-the-way location it's a busy wee place but worth the trip as you could easily spend a couple of hours here eating and browsing. The lady that runs it bakes the cakes and brings them in each morning and there is such a great selection of home bakes. The sour creme, blueberry and cinnamon cake is a dream- perfectly light sponge, scrummy fruit and a creamy sticky icing on top! They also have a wonderful chocolate brownie which comes with sour cream and raspberries. They also do great soup (which comes with a whopping great hunk of delicious soft bread) and have a selection of sandwiches. The tea room itself is in a sort of wee farmhouse with a lawn and tables out the front. It also has an adjoining gift shop filled with lots of cute home and gifty things, mason jars, note books, decorations, cards (that sorta thing). The staff are lovely and friendly and the price is reasonable. I totally love this little tearoom and have visited on a few occasions. I look forward to many more visits!
