One of the things that has impressed us the most is the level of attention each child receives. The teachers truly take the time to understand their unique strengths, learning styles and development needs, creating an environment where children can be confident, and excited to learn. The junior K program has been especially outstanding. The curriculum strikes the perfect balance between academic preparedness and social emotional development. Mrs Deanna did an amazing job challenging and engaging my son while ensuring he was having fun and building confidence every step of the way! We also really appreciated the small class size for that program. The lower student to teacher ratio really helped for more personal instruction and greater opportunities for my son to participate! We love the summer camp and all the extra activities.

Our daughter has Autism and they have been such a blessing in our support structure for her. While attending there she has blossomed socially, verbally, and academically. When we started, she was almost non verbal and they did so much to provide a setting where she felt comfortable and could thrive. She has moved through several rooms in our time there, with the goal of getting her up to speed with her peers. Thru the different rooms, each of the teachers have been extremely caring and accommodating to her needs. Additionally, the director and assistant director are proactive communicators and really take the time to get to know each family.

I came to the Lewis center kindercare on June 27th, after being booked by the director Trish Pisano. I am supposed to be paid, as stated in the PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT/INVOICE by check the day of performance. But I was told by the director that the check was in the mail. She refuses to make any effort to make sure I am paid for the job she booked me for. The same excuse has been given to me EVERYTIME I call for the last 6 weeks. Every daycare I have performed at has paid me up front. I gave a wonderful performance and made the children laugh and smile, and walked away been stiffed. I do not recommend this day care to anyone.... And I go to day cares for a living.

Pros: good location around a lot of stores to keep parents entertained while kids are in tutoring…read more Very welcoming staff. Low teacher/student ratio per group. Versatile teaching possibilities. Monthly contract, not quarterly or yearly. Reasonable rates. Cons: requires students to do work independently through the week, which is added homework time. Not necessarily a bad thing, but parents should be advised they will need to be involved in their kids learning. visited this center today for my 7 year old daughter in 2nd grade. She is struggling with reading comprehension, and the supervisor was very thorough in both testing my daughter, assessing hers and explaining everything to me. He knew all of the students and parents by name. A very personable atmosphere. There is a max of four students per table, which means it's a low teacher/student ratio. There are half hour slots and also full hour slots. Can attend once or twice a week depending on the kids needs. I look forward to seeing how my daughter improves

Great new office space for Pearson Education - Columbus. This is not the same as the Pearson VUE…read moretesting center but a relocation of the Pearson office that was on Hutchinson Avenue. This office is located in the WeWork Office Space & Coworking. Pearson has three separate areas with additional conference room in a section with nice lighting and open workspace. Suites are key card secured to Pearson employees but you can checkin with WeWork reception on the 3rd Floor for assistance. Three floors (out of 10) are dedicated to WeWork with the Pearson office on the 4the Floor. The only concern is parking as the Short North Arts District is a vibrant busy area of Columbus. There is street meter parking available as well as valet if there all day. I found parking easy today and really like this office space and set up.

The instructors/teachers are incredibly hands-on with their teaching and always have something unique planned for the kids. Any teacher that maintain the attention spans of 10 youngsters simultaneously has my vote of confidence. A great investment when the kids just think they're playing when they're actually learning heaps. If you cannot get in for school, consider the summer school they have at TUMC. BUT take my advice and register early as this is THE hip and happening place for the pre-schoolers in Grandview and Arlington.
