The door was unlocked, lights on, bar fully stocked--and not a single soul in sight. No staff. No patrons. Just me wandering around like I'd broken into a liquor museum. I called out, upstairs and down--nothing. I even called the number listed on Yelp to let someone know their place was wide open. No response. No thanks. No clue. Saturday night, I gave them a second chance--another $15 Uber. $20 cover for a RuPaul's Drag Race performer--cool, I'm here for it. I headed upstairs to the quiet section, grabbed a $12 vodka soda with pineapple, had a chill convo with the bartender and a patron, and ordered a second drink. At 1:45 a.m., I asked if I could step out for a cigarette and come back to finish my drink. Bartender said, "Sure." I came back at 2:01--and the place was locked up like Fort Knox. My $12 drink still sitting on the bar. No reentry. No explanation. Just shrugged off and shut out. Then came the $25 Uber back to the hotel. Total spent? Over $65. Total value? Somewhere between zero and a slap in the face. This place doesn't need patrons--it needs management. I didn't get a drink, I got a reminder: just because a bar has a door doesn't mean it's worth walking through.

The Divas club that USED to be... ...in Condado was from the same owners in Philadelphia. I have to ...certainly give it to this business because their management is excellent. One early morning, I took a short ...trip to Levittown in Puerto Rico and fell asleep in a small hotel overthere with the TV on. Little did ik, Cristian from Divas club in Condado actually went out of his way and drove to my hotel and woke me up by banging on my door. He drove me to his Divas club job because he told me that there was no public transportation in Levittown to get back, and staff from Divas were SOOOO INCREDIBLY ...AMAZING to have actually given me an entire White foam box plate of some of the most DELICIOUS Puerto Rican food I hadn't eaten in years, FREE on the house!!!! Who does this?! I am extremely ever grateful to Cristian from the old Divas of Condado, Puerto Rico and to his managers ...that were a couple from Philadelphia whom were overly and compassionately understanding. These people really looked out for me and made me feel loved!!! Shocking how something ...as special as this never happened to me at Metro Life Church of Miami Florida.

I used to go here all the time. I understand OF has taken all the good talent but they could definitely find better. The bar maid was very friendly and made you feel welcomed. 4 TV's with sports televised and a claw machine filled with stuffed animals can be found inside as well as a golf arcade game. This place could be the sister bar of Barbons right down the street, as they are extremely alike except Mott's doesn't serve food. Recently Barbons Jacked up all their food prices to nearly double what you normally would have paid, so its much cheaper to drink here and order food from Giavanna's next door! It was kind of dead, just three or four people at the bar and people stopping in to grab beer to go. It was pretty laid back, no fuss, nice and relaxing. I particularly enjoyed the picture of Michael Constantine on the wall (the dad from My Big Fat Greek Wedding). I remember hearing he lived in the area... $2.25 Yuengling bottles, $1.50 PBR draughts (not my bag, the metal shavings make my throat bleed, but ok), and Leffe for $3 or 4. Some local brews on tap including a Slyfox IPA. Also, the bathrooms are so tiny (really tiny) that the sink is out in the main bar area. Wash your hands or everyone will know what a dirty little monkey you are!

Add in that getting a can of Coke costs $2 every time you get one instead of free refills. I understand but $2? The food at least is cheap.
