Green cabs are always on time - if not a little ahead. For example, I was flying out of Logan early one morning, and it was snowing pretty hard. Without prompting from me, they called to offer to come early so I would still make my flight. I agreed, and they were indeed there fifteen minutes early. The cabs are very clean and neat, and the drivers are awesome. In fact, it might be the drivers who make the company. It is family owned by folks from the Ukraine, and everyone I've ever had as a driver has been friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. You never feel like you're in a rush or annoying anybody, and they're always happy to let you know how things work around the Boston area, such as public transport, Logan policies, etc. For an out-of-towner, they're a necessity. In short, definitely pick these guys. They're nice, reliable and always on time.

They will claim you didn't leave them 6 voicemails to the number they never pick up on or send them a half dozen emails to the email address listed on their site that they apparently never check asking them to cancel.   These are not last minute changes - these are REPEATED emails and voicemails a FULL WEEK in advance of the trip in question. The funniest thing about this experience is that they never came to pick us up for the trip TO the airport for the trip we canceled (Correctly, because we had called and emailed them cancelling it) but they f**ed up their internal communications and somehow still drove to the airport to pick us up from our phantom trip that never happened.   So the natural question that we asked them when they charged us for this was how it was possible for them to know not to come take us to the airport if they never received our cancellation notice. The guy answering the phone apparently couldn't wrap his head around how this didn't make any sense and told us to F off.   Long story short, be prepared to file a chargeback with your credit card company against these d-bags, as that is what we will be doing. We gave them multiple opportunities to correct this and they were absolute d*cks about it every single time. This was even more disappointing and puzzling considering we were repeat customers. You're better off taking an Uber. Stay away.

Airport Coach gave me that recently with every aspect of their service. Our car and driver showed up ahead of schedule. (That's worth two stars ). Next, the comfort and smooth ride of the vehicle itself - a large SUV, close to a van- was a pleasure to ride in (two more ), and the icing on the cake was our driver, a soft-spoken, friendly guy who filled us in about the places we drove past (final star ) and got us to our destination well ahead of schedule. Private services like Airport Coach aren't cheap, but they're worth every penny.

Instead of marking down Ocean Street in Hyannis he put it as Ocean Street in Boston. Our driver was lovely and addressed the issue quickly. However, this morning my husband had multiple missed calls from the owner. When he returned the call he was addressed by a very angry, very aggressive owner who accused my husband of calling him a liar, told us the driver could be fired over this, and then when I chimed in he asked why I was even speaking and that I was part of the original problem. The owner then asked us to pay more for his mix up instead of just assuming the responsibility and eating the cost. The overall approach to the situation and lack of professionalism was shocking. Maybe if he wasn't trying to do business while traveling in Italy he would have gotten our reservation correct and we could have avoided this entire situation. My advice - look elsewhere. It is away from the hustle-and-bustle of Waltham. In my view, it is one of the best options for lodging in Waltham. Prior to moving to Boston, I would visit this hotel yearly on my trips to Waltham for medical needs. The hotel has always been safe, clean, comfy, and cozy. My most recent stay is no different than the past. We checked in after a long drive back from New York State. Luggage carts easily accessible right at the entrance. Plenty of free, COVERED parking, which is a recent addition to this property! They also have expanded electric car capability for those of you with an EV! The night-staff always has and still leaves much to be desired. I feel they could use a touch-up on hospitality, accommodating guests, and basics like cutting workable room keys. Additionally, the on-site snack shop could use restocking a bit more often given the traffic this hotel receives. The lobby and common areas are always clean, fresh, and in great condition. I've noticed on my regular stays here the level of upkeep and maintenance. They truly care about and take pride in their property. It's why I continue to stay here when in Waltham. The rooms are fresh, open, and airy. The beds are plush with fresh, crisp, and clean linens. There are no lingering smells or odors anywhere on the property, which is a welcome relief these days! The rooms feature a mini fridge, coffee maker, and mini fridge. The suites do come with a microwave. Otherwise, there is a microwave in the lobby area for a late-night bite. They also have a gift shop on site, however I've noticed it usually is out of stock due to the traffic here. The breakfast is top-notch. Several main choices. Several proteins. Hand-held fruits. Yogurt. Pastries/Muffins, Waffles. They do the full gamut of the Hampton Breakfast. The staff is attentive to guest flow and demand and I've never had them run out of food. The sales manager is also lovely and always goes above and beyond to accommodate us and our needs. This is one of the many reasons we remain loyal to the brand for 200-300 nights every year. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable accommodation in or around Waltham, you cannot go wrong with the Hampton Inn Waltham! Pro Tip: The on-site mini bar/ Craft Food Hall concept is only open Monday-Wednesday due to demand. Outside of that, delivery services are reliable here and the hotel has given us several phenomenal delivery recommendations during our stay here!

I arrived right around 5 PM in the middle of the week and there was only one person stocking the in-house store and handling check-ins. I could tell she was very busy, probably tired (rightfully so), but very professional and kind. She handed me a little welcome bag that contained two bottles of filtered water and a helpful information sheet. She promptly shared with me the Wi-Fi access information, which I greatly appreciated. Took the elevator up to my room and was pleased to find that the carpeting in the hallway was very thick, and that only half of the guestroom was carpeted. I like having a hard floor, however, the carpeting, draperies, and bedding all were in great condition. The microwave was small, but adequate for my needs, and the mini fridge was just as good. I really enjoyed the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries they had, but noted that they didn't have the standard guest items like Q-tips. Almost had a meltdown in the morning when I thought I couldn't get the Keurig machine to work (lol), but it just had a little bit of a delay. The coffee was not Keurig, and was just OK, but it served its purpose (caffeine). I was disappointed that I did didn't see any recycling receptacles, so I collected my things in a brown paper bag and hoped they might be recycled. Check-in and checkout we're very easy using my digital key. Unfortunately, I was assigned the room right next to the elevator, so I could hear it rumbling with the doors slamming most of the evening and beginning again around 5 AM, but it did stop during the night, and it's not their fault. It's a hotel, and that happens. I would stay at this property again.
