There is high turn over with in the staff and the board has a problem with being transparent and upfront with the parents. The atmosphere of the student body is very clicky and heavy with favoritism which might be the reason for a bullying epidemic there. The cost to benefit just isn't there when you are literally getting the same education in the public school system. This school started out strong when it was first built but over the past 5 years it has really gone down hill while its tuition increased due to the population growth in the area.

I've been here for 7 straight years now and I'm going into my Senior year here at Newton! I'm graduating next year! Before I came to Newton, I was very shy, I didn't have a lot of friends, I was struggling to socialize with anyone, and was scared to do a lot of things. But when I came to Newton Learning Center, it has changed my life forever!! I made so many accomplishments, friendships, and progress here! We called over 10 times and sent multiple emails and literally get a different BS explanation every time or no answer at all. They don't have an answering machine or service and are super unresponsive. I'm officially reporting them to the better business bureau for refusing to refund the money they owe us. Not great - you're getting what you pay for. This is definitely more of a daycare than a school, there was no curriculum and no emphasis on learning that I witnessed at all. Also, the staff is super inconsistent on logging activity in the app. Most days, I had no idea if he had a nap or eaten normally. The facility is very dirty, even the director's office when you walk in is filthy. They keep all of the children in one tiny room most of the time with very little to engage them. Our two-year-old was kept with much younger children and picked up terrible habbits in the one month he was there including hitting and screaming. The staff would always say he had a good day, but half the time he was crying when we picked him up which is not his usual demeanor. My husband also witnessed a much older child (belonging to a staff member) hitting smaller children on the very first drop off day and no one interviened. The tuition is low and they include snacks and meals, but they aren't nutritions options I would choose at home

I am not sure where they find these teachers and principals but it's definitely not people that should be certified to teach or work with children. They are all thugs. They are also a scam of a school. The school does not count as education and therefore if your child is transferred somewhere else they will repeat the grade because this is not a legitimate institution. Do not send your kids here, it is a trick to make money off the government for your child. They do not care about your child's education. Do not make the mistake to set your child up for failure.
